To be honest. I think multistreaming is the best thing I did in a while. Eventhough im in the dutch community of streaming, and it is a lot smaller. Making the "best" quality content en trying hard on one platform is hurting my growth if I have the possiblity of branching out on different platforms. You can add multiple alerts in one stream, so that the twitch and youtube alerts are on the same stream; even tiktok is possible. Same with the chat; there are ways to get the chat in the same place for people to show. If you have a place like discord where people can talk with eachother.. the whole "community" problem is become so small because they see the other chatters on the screen, and talk to them in discord and engage with them. For me streaming on youtube has been a blast for multiple years with recieving feedback from the top streamers in the dutch community about how good the quality was and engagement with chat. But I have been stuck on a certain level of viewers; branching out made my other platforms grow so much and made me so much less dependent on 1 platform. I dont see any downside to multistreaming if you set it up good. But you need to set it up the right way to work.. thats will all. Just because "its multiple chats" or "I want to focus on 1 platform" is missing out on so many oppertunities. And it gives creators a way to play and experiment with content instead of playing the "hype". Because they can reach so many more people. Edit: my avarage on youtube alone was ~30-40 viewers. Now with all platforms added up i get on avarage 100-150 viewers.
Like I mentioned towards the end of the video it's typically "different strokes for different folks" for sure. Many of our clients and people just starting out on any platform typically don't have the skills yet to even entertain one chat or build out their content for a single platform. The new multistreaming functionality just really adds complexity. It's not that it's good or bad it really just depends on a bunch of varying factors. Glad you are finding success with it ❤️
@@iLeveledsocials 100% True what you are saying. The video itself was very good. I only missed the options to overcome the problems people may have. Social media isn’t straight forward in finding succes with what you are doing. It’s about trying and taking risks. But good video non the less ❤️
@@MMcookiegamer100% agree! We have worked with tons of content creators on every platform for years now and its really just different for everyones content, goals, consistency, etc etc. Great advice and appreciate the comment!
There can be some benefits BUT its really important we find to get a community built up and focus in on a single game/style of content before branching. Now making content for other socials is a different story
I am still in that 1 month infancy stage. Sooo much to learn. Definitely seems awesome to expand to more audiences. Definitely scary to have multiple TOS to deal with though.@@iLeveledsocials
yea i been multi streaming since 2019 during the no multi streaming ban wave but you was all ways able too multi stream before 2019 . on my first channel i used too . but now i was a 65 subs in this second channel i was stuck at 120 followers on twitch i grew . only annoying thing is combing both chats
Actually, we have worked with a few and a few couples. The trick is most people end up sending their stream to OBS/Streamlabs and use their phone for scene changes, effects, etc. The hard part is the mic so a lavalier mic is typically recommended. Are you on console?
@@iLeveledsocials That's really cool to hear. I have a couple ideas for products and they may extend to gamers who aren't streaming, too. In my case I have a laptop on "the island", that has the wiring and USB ports mounted to it. My HD60X is mounted close by. Behind me I have hanging down a condenser mic as well as my "fishing pole" (more on that in a second). On my left I have an iPad that I can use as a source to show the screen on stream. I like doing this to show what I'm looking up or what settings I'm using on wzhubb's application (an interactive map for war zone, MWZ, etc.) Love that app! This iPad also has the elgato Stream Deck Mobile app on it, and I will also use my iPhone with that app to control things. I REALLY need a physical SD to do what I have envisioned! One day :) Tiny elgato rant: Mounting Points and detachable cables, please. That Neo SD stoked me out but then I saw the cable length! On my coffee table I have another iPad acting as a second screen. It's in my line-of-sight. This was necessary because I couldn't see when a chat came in. (One of my ideas will help anyone that is looking at their TV to see when they get an alert). This iPad also has the main monitor of my stream so I can make sure my controller stays in view. Underneath my 55" TV is my PS4...sigh...I will upgrade eventually. This year was huge as I got a computer, HD60X, and the necessary peripherals to make this all work. I am working towards upgrading to either a PS4 Pro or Xbox Series X. It will take 14/15 months. The fishing pole. My controller is heavy and last year I started experiencing major pain in my hands. I no longer could play for hours like I wanted to. My controller is suspended from this pole and it takes the majority of its weight! It solved the problem instantly. This is where 1 of 2 cameras are. It's pointing down showing my very unique controller. The second camera is a "handcam" I turn on via SD App. It's a cheap android phone running IP Camera I mainly just fool around with for fun. I show my cats a lot lmao. I went into more detail than I originally intended so sorry for the book! I get passionate about this stuff, I'm sure you can understand/relate! Thanks for helping us with vids, dude. I started doing a vert stream and horizontal stream to TH-cam. I use Aitum. I'm now thinking about where else to send that vertical feed to.
Here is the issue for me: I know that i need to stream on TH-cam if i want to grow, but i hate how clips works on youtube, and there is't the functionnalities that i like on Twitch. But on Twitch the discoverability is awfull. Basically i think on TH-cam there is't enough connection and interactions with my viewers compared to Twitch. I don't know what to do, choosing between growth (TH-cam) and more interactions with viewers AND clips (Twitch) is hard.
Definitely a tough choice. I find that the Twitch community is just better BUT the growth is much better on traditional socials [YT, TikTok, Reels, etc]. My advice is to craft content and your segments on Twitch and use that footage to create content. We typically recommend clients to make their content on their favorite platform and then spend 1 less day streaming and turn that into a content creation day or time.
@@iLeveledsocials My friend gave me the same advice, so i can stream on twitch some days in the week (not decided which ones yet) and post rediffusions and best of on TH-cam in the weekend for example ?
@@tonyanimations5377This is a good example but I would go a bit deeper. You want to first setup a solid weekly streaming schedule [M, W, F at 7pm for example] From there, during your stream set aside time where you are doing something specific what we call a "segment" in the industry. So a segment for you might be a clip review, in-game action or challenge, or maybe a reaction video if that is the type of content you want to make. This makes the editing process easier and then you can start to craft what types of content you are making and presenting to your audience on socials that draw attention to your stream
Its different for everyone for sure! Main point is that content creation is quite a journey and sometimes trying to diversify too early might hurt your overall growth and community building. It's definitely not always the case so different strokes for different folks for sure. Great comment!

No multi streaming yet. As soon as we hit like 10-20k subs or starting to get 100-200 average viewers then definitely would probably try.

Ya combining both chats can be a pain. One tool we use is called socialstream which is awesome and can combine chats from most major sites.
i think its a good idea im streaming on twitch & TH-cam as a small content creator Just me playing video games
Awesome to hear you are having fun and some success!
@@iLeveledsocials ty I hope so if I can't get it to work I just stream on one platform
I’m curious if you’ve worked with any “couch streamers”? People who are not behind a desk but in a couch or chair and streaming.

To multistream or not to multistream...
that is the question!
It does not matter where you stream? Are you serious? I guess that is why you only have 466 subs.
