I've become so used to how literal light novels tend to be that I assumed Chitose was actually going to end up inside a ramune bottle at some point when I started reading volume one without knowing anything about it. The lack of any supernatural elements like that almost felt like a twist.
Related to the spoilers in Kept Man, his original name was Mardukas, based on Marduk, from summerian mythos, the guy who fought Tiamat of all monsters, so, he wasn't weak before being cursed
I'm a guild reception seems to be getting more popular. It was all over Japanese Bookwalker recently.... When I was in Japan, it was all about I got reincarnated as a slime.
I read 2 volumes of Chitose and dropped after first few chapters of volume 3. I like romcoms when it comes to anime (voice acting, face expression, ost), but LN romcoms don't work for me. Do you think I will like I if I continue reading it? Also my school life was great, I wasnt the athletic or the popular guy, more nerdy tbh. But nobody bullied me since I knew how to fight ans was stood for myself on many occasions. So reading it was kinda very generic.
Ayo, Kept Man of The Princess Knight will be adapted to anime? Dude, I saw the manga, this is not for everyone, it's scum protagonist in a bleak, scummy world.
@@hutch1666 Compared to some other characters in the series he is alright, I can see the logic in his actions and he does point out the jerkassery in others and generally isn't wrong, he is no saint, but he isn't an irredeemable villain, no, that honor goes to one of the people he killed and was in the right doing so.
@@hutch1666 I found until volume 2 fan translated in Spanish and this made me want to buy the novel, seriously, I hope Matthew and his old crew screw over the plans of the Sun God someday.

Hey, have you ever tried webnovels?
Hey I've read some years ago but don't really bother with them as the focus is on Light Novels

Did you only read the first volume of the manga?
If that is all you read, then there is a lot about the protagonist you don’t know.
