You rarely see a Maxey shot attempt from any spot get blocked. I believe he may may be a special kind of balanced between high IQ and Speed to the rack. My God can he get to the rim fast.
He may not be in the same category as the Anthony Edwards or Luka Donic level players….but he’s certainly not far off. And he’s only getting better every year.

i think next to Embiid we need a younger Batum type of player. Siakam is more of an zone player and i have no join to see Embiid at the 3 point line and forcing pump fakes and 3`s. Or running into players get offensive calls or loosing ball because his dribbling skills are not on NBA level.

And we see that Maxey is strong when he can attack and create. Hope Morey give us need next year a true point guard with size next to Joel and Maxey

But his ability to create off the dribble for himself and others will reduce the need to put a traditional point guard beside Tyrese in the starting lineup. Tyrese should have the ball in his hands so a backcourt partner that can defend both guard positions and spot up would be ideal. Like Grayson Allen.

You could see in the game that he tried too hard to be a ball distributor in the first half, but we did have this players. Someone who can showcase Embiid and Maxey like Lowry does to some extent is exactly right. Loops to Embiid, back door cut passes and the game is more fluid and not as predictable, making it ideal for the playoffs. But Siakam could immediatley help in other perspective right

Hard to win with Mo Bamba as your starting Center and Tobias Harris as your 2nd option. Embiid can definitely carry a team better than Maxey but I do think Maxey would of won more by himself if a team was built around him with some size.
