I'm going to get my 2K16 My Career wishlist in right now before it's too late.
Here it is.
You should start your career in the Final Four in college. You pick which college you want to go to. From there, depending on how you play in the end of the tournament, you get a draft projection. From there, you cam choose whether you want to go to the combine, which will also affect your draft stock.
The creation process should be if you're a top 5 pick you get a rating between 73-78.
Between 5-15 anywhere between 65-73, and out of the lottery your rating should be

The college part isnt going to happen 2k would have to pay players for their likeness but the ncaa wont let players be payed yet

They could just use fake players besides the NBA stars who were in the class and drafted because they would no longer be in college. The rest of the college players could just be fake names generated.

In 2k16 mycareer, they should have a system where you can pick a class and subclass when you create your character, example: Position SG Class Athletic Subclass Slashing

Never liked the 2k shooting. I make on Cs and even Ds. But I miss on As and Bs?!? I know I cant make every shot, but I shouldn't go 2-9 on wide open 3s with outside scoring on max...
Yup I don't know why 2k put the shot sliders on lucifer it's close to impossible to make shots unless their perfect or you have every shooting badge possible I wish you could buy badges might as well makes my life easier lol

I'm so fucking tired of this 2k bullshit, and script cheese. Why do they have to add this fucking awful script BS. A- shots brick Kobe makes triple clutch threes over double teams. Shooting percentages are so fucking broken. I'm so sick of it, hopefully 2k fixes it.
I feel you, it feels like Lebron, Kobe, Melo, and Durant don't miss. Fucking 20 feet behind the three point line contested drained. And I miss A+s and Layups. Smh.

Smoove you should change your jumpshot , I know why you aren't shooting well anymore , the 2k patch patched your jumpshot , and also if you are going to use a different jumpshot I recommend you to use the Deron Williams jumpshot, I use it and splash all day with it

No the reason he misses is because 2k didnt make a way to raise your offensive consistency, so with a rating of 50 locked in, you will miss more than you make.

These type of games are hilarious to watch
Dude I've been experiencing the same thing recently. Just the past couple of days, every time I play a game I am throwing up bricks AND missing free throws with a 95/maxed out jump shot rating. My season free throw rating is 91% -- but the past 2 weeks in game I dropped down to about 80%. Same thing with my 3pt shot, my season average was 44% from 3, but the past 2 in game weeks I'm struggling to average 25% from 3. I hope it's all in my head, or the games just playing tricks and that they didn't bug something up with an update or something.
Not to mention I am VERY familiar with my shot timing, and I am always right on the line/in the middle or getting a perfect release. Both free throws and jump shots.
Fifty0ne Ive been bricking quite a bit as well recently, shots i can see missing quite a few sometimes but man, my free throws have taken a hit as well. Im only playing on all-star so not quite as rough as Smoove percentage wise, but i dunno, i may rely on the shot meter far too much and not the animation.

Maybe you hit "Rookie Wall" as they say it. I woudn't be surprised if they made that in the game. That for some time you can't make a shot .
Or using turbo way too much in course of season. We all saw in Smoove's video's that he was exhausted after couple of games in post interviews. If you turbo through the game you can do it once, twice but on regular basis ...So to me that just makes game much more realistic. And he still shoots like 50% from field 43% from 3s and putting way above MVP numbers AS A ROOKIE !!! THUMBS UP THIS !!!

Kinda glad I'm not the only one who knows the struggles of this game. One game I'm on fire, the next game is straight ice. Teammates, especially the bigs are the absolute worse. Instead of taking the easy layup, they either wait for a contact layup which is bricked or they just pass it back.
2K needs to update it's shot timing and shot meter accuracy just like NBA Live did recently.

Scripted games vs the Thunder are cheese. KD and Westbrook shot like 80% together vs me and afterwards JJ Redick tells me something about how we couldnt hit a thing. Just part of the script. 2k is getting lame.

iMAJESTiC Happened to me yesterday vs OKC too My SF averages 34 PPG 14 RPG 9 APG and has 91 shooting and I always end up around 30% from the field vs the Thunder
Games aren't scripted the cutscenes are made before hand and then depending how you do are out after wards to correspond with your performance. But there still is so much shooting bs

Smoove´s missing so many shots in 2K15, in 2K14 he was a boss.
For as long as I've played 2k I've never been able to have a wide open shot with a good shooter and be confident about the ball going in without it being a perfect release,and don't even get me started on the missed wide open lay ups with 7 footers

Yeah, I feel the same way. I play this on Hall of Fame/ Casual cuz Casual turn up the sliders a little bit. Im at least doing this until I get to 85 then its going back to Default, im 80 now, but 2K makes some teams like the Thunder unstoppable in this game because Westbrook and Durant could go off for 40 points each, and its hard to stay in front of them and shut them out of the game. If you play on Hall of Fame/Simulation, you don't have to worry about Westbrook or Durant depending if you play SF or PG. All you got to do is constantly attack the basket and draw a lot of fouls, and take charges. Eventually they would get disqualified for having all those fouls, so that's the only way to not have to worry about Westbrook/Durant.
Have you considered changing the shot from the timing release to what your stat is?

Smoove try playing without the shot meter. When I had it on I was focusing way to much on the meter being in the middle rather than the release, and I found it so much easier going back old school without the shot meter.

It's so nice to read that we all have the same problems in MyCareer. It's honestly bull how 2k has our teammates completely incompetent and the other team plays like the '92 Dream Team. Ratings just don't matter. I've consistently been killed from the 3pt line from shooters with 45, 53, 49, etc standing 3pt ratings and yet a 96 driving layup misses all the damn time! Like wtf
Pick and Rolls work when you mix up refusing and using the Pick. If you run your man into the pick and then refuse it (go away from the screen) you'll get a wide open jumper or easy dump down to your post when the D helps up. Smoove did it at like 3:50 or something.
Is the shoe glitch there whether you pick nike, jordan or adidas?

Chris, I had the exact same problem with the releases, and it turns out that a lot of the releases are indeed bugged, I'd recommend trying out Tony Parker or Lance Stephenson's release, I did this and i got a lot more perfect releases.
the 2k15's hall of fame difficulty doesn't make it much harder. it makes it much cheesier

If anyone is having problems with them missing wide open shots, then change the shooting type from *"User Timing"* to *"Shooting %"*

Yo Chris, if this current jumper you've been since 2K12 isn't working, you should go back to the shot you had in 2K11. The "Textbook" jumpshot which is 27 and 17 I think.

Something I realized is that in MyCareer, it's not really the same as playing with a regular player, here's how:
If you equip a NBA players jumpshot, it won't be the same as using it with your player, you won't get so many greens, it will feel different.
It's impossible to try and recreate a NBA player as a MyPlayer, if you go into your settings and go to edit roster & try looking at any player, you will see how many more options there are in creating or viewing a NBA player. They have so many more options and arm sleeves and leg sleeves and everything in general it's just so stupid why they can't implement that into MyCareer. I hate set shots, I miss choosing the 2 different shots you were able to choose, I tried using 42 26 by editing it into a player and that jumpshot is simply abusive. When using my MyPlayer who's a 95 overall after playing myteam, everything still feels extremely delayed and down-graded.
I know 2k did something & I don't like what they are doing.
Some people spend 100s of dollars on VC even though we payed $60 for the damn game and everything is still extremely expensive and those MyTeam packs... If you get one good pull the entire year you won't get anything else, luckily I pulled MJ in the Ruby packs, Smoove pulled LeBron, you saw that last pack opening he did... Complete ass
