My heart goes out to the victims. Being through it i know how hard it is and it never goes away. I just recently strarted therapy. I hope the young lady's gets help and gets therapy.

The parole board is always offering excuses to the offenders by saying, "Were you drinking or taking drugs?"
Like it's an excuse! I've done drugs in my life (mostly back in the '70s) and so I've known all kinds of users, and know alcoholics - active and not - drank a little myself in my 20's but neither I or anyone I've known did anything inappropriate with children. Drugs and/or alcohol aren't the reasons for it, only an excuse for deep moral flaws

What’s really sad is this scumbag got counseling and everything else while,in prison and his daughter- the victim has had none! Our society does not take care of our children!

I agree. We need to somehow vote out these do nothing professional politicians on BOTH sides of the aisle! It's like they coddle these people! Why have we never seen the Epstein files? And why is the sexualization of children becoming so main stream? It is sickening!

I agree the boards judgements should be based on the Wardens body language. The wardens body language is saying that this guy should never be released . This guy is worthless.

What angers me is when they call their crimes “mistakes”. That right there is all I need to know about them. Nothing else they say matters. They still don’t admit what they did when they call it a “mistake”.
Parents shouldn't even try to speak at a parole hearing. How can he not know there are consequences to your actions when he's been sitting in prison 5 years...Really?
His parents talked about how he's grown. They talk about academia and science, good talks with Dad but they never acknowledged that he has a problem with young girls. Its a good thing his lawyer brought it up tho it didn't help him. Oh, Marabella is talking about it now. He's sunk.

8 year olds have an understanding of consequences and this guy didn't understand consequences until he was 21 years old and got caught trying to hook up with a 14 year old. That's bananas 🍌

@mandoo I agree with you on the sentence needing to be longer but when reading the article about how he said that he would not be taken alive and although I agree that he could’ve saved us all some time and money if he’d have done it I am very glad he didn’t. His daughter would have never been able to get over it or heal. She’d have spent the rest of her life blaming herself thinking (no matter how wrong) that if she wouldn’t have reported the abuse he wouldn’t be dead? He had to live so she could live without him. Sad but I think it’s true. She shouldn’t ever blame herself for anything I think it’s human nature when you’re a good person to take on the what ifs.

In case #2 I recognized the perp, but when I saw Nelda offering the predator a job, the case came flooding back to me. It’s bad enough this couple support this pos, but then, for an added touch of drama, Nelda bows her head in prayer while hubby continues singing his praises. As for Brittany, she’s next level class. That girl’s got guts and did a great job calling out her dad. I wish her the best. As for Nelda and hubby, be careful who you “love.” Maybe next time sweet Eric is released, he’ll show up on your doorstep to have his needs met.

Talking as a SURVIVOR of my father.......I would never have been able to endure sitting in front of strangers telling strangers what I had to go through and then have a defense attorney stand there telling me that I am lying!!
I only came out to my mother when I was 24 years old (my mother and father were still together). The ONLY reason that I told my mother was to ensure that my children would be protected.
So as I said, not everyone is the same and not everyone is able to go sit in front of strangers, so I can understand some of these monsters receiving a plea deal.
I experienced date r@p3 when I was 16. I couldn't bring myself to even press charges because of the trauma & the shame. These people who have the courage to get up here & testify is amazing to me. Like you, I totally understand & it's a shame that the perpetrators get leniency because of it.

First case he spoke alot about consequences, meaning I wont do it because i am scared of going back to jail. Not I wont do it again because i know its wrong and dont have the desire to commit those acts anymore

What was he saying again? CONSEQUENCES!! If you look at his lawyer when the mother says it, he looks up and clearly thought like we did. Nothing about Morality, how you shouldnt do it even if you and the victim are the only humans left and you have a zero percent chance to get busted. I dont understand why they deny when they only have a year left. If he gets out without parole he will have no supervision at all. If they grant after he completes the program, they couldve kept him 6 more months to complete and only let him out 6 months early but can watch him, give him a curfew, order him to report once a week and more.

I think Chris Hanson had some legal issues around that, brought on by Onision. I recall watching & then it abruptly stopped right after he had an interview with Blaire White. Also, she's never mentioned Onision again either.... 😠😞

I also know Chris Hanson had some legal issues himself. I dont know the out come, but I dont have high regards for Chris after all that happened.
