I've heard that boogie woogie was originally called piano blues, boogie woogie being a dance style. It was Clarence "Pinetop" Smith's 1929 recording of "Pinetop's Boogie Woogie" that gave that name to the music style. Many consider rock 'n' roll to be a combination of blues and country 'n' western (or rhythm 'n' blues and country 'n' western).

Speaking of Pinetop, I believe there is a "School of Blues" in the Delta area named after him, for youth. Ain't it great the Blues spawned so many genres of music we know today, and influenced so many major Rock 'n' roll musicians. I was fascinated to learn that Fleetwood Mac started as a Blues Band in the 60's...and they were quite good.

The music is great : -) The video is absurd : TV's were from the 50's, 60's, 70's... and in this TV screen what do we see ? Costumes from the 30's and the 40's... Black blues musicians playing in speakeasies (i.e = 30's) rock Stratocasters (i.e= 50's, 60's)...and more impossibilities than can be counted. Easy on the AI, guys... The red car, once it passes the rural house , has no driver anymore... But the music (AI, too, correct ?) is (once again) great !

The video is absurd : TV's were from the 50's, 60's, 70's... and in this TV screen what do we see ? Costumes from the 30's and the 40's... Black blues musicians playing in speakeasies (i.e = 30's) rock Stratocasters (i.e= 50's, 60's)...and more impossibilities than can be counted.
