There is another kind of bolero, Spanish bolero, and probably you have ever listen in classical music. The Ravel's Bolero is very popular. In general, spanish and sud american music influence each other. It's so rich!!!❤
St. Pedro stands singing a spanish bolero with has a great link to latin music, specially knowing that he was borned in the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands), a spanish region with a very strong cultural and historical bond with Latin America.

The Bolero is originally from Cuba, very popular in all Hispanic countries, with romantic and melancholic lyrics... and this one is certainly beautiful

Dos Extraños entronca con la tradicion Canaria por el Bolero Cubano y muy amado en España. St Pedro tine ese "duende" o magia para que el Bolero lo elija a él. Gsnase o no seria hermoso que parte de Europa descubra este genero musical que canta al alma sin gritos ni alardes, solo con sentimiento y sinceridad en una armonia nostalgica y serena. Tengo el deseo dividido porque hay una mujer con un voz floja que ha traido tido un himno "yo soy el fenenino de zorro" (no puedo escribir el titulo porque hasta TH-cam lo censura Seria divertido oir a los comentaristas de tv tratar de explicar la letra y desconozco que entenderán pero no cabe duda Eurovision va mas alla de la música y pocas canciones con un mensaje tam importante, la canción es musicalmente agradable y casi de ritmo setentero recirdando a Janette pero no con letra cursi sino con un discurso potente, empiderandose hasta con un insulto y demistrando que ser mujer no es somo ser "aforno rubio floral, ni caminonera progresista. Sofia Coll es una apuesta segura que pasaria sin pena ni gloria. Con las otras hay riesgo se puede ganar o ser última pero serus rmocionsnte cuslwyiera de mid fod apuestas y veg cómo lo interpreta Europa. La puesra en escena de St pedro deberia ser muy años cuarenta en Blanco y negro muy minimsl y con un final en explosión de oro y negro , elegsnte como un jokero y con brillo como.um bolero qye marca el alma La puesta en excena de Nebulosa deberia ser cara con imágenes en tres dimensiones de cómo las mismas mujeres la critican a otra mujer, de como el machismo esta impregnado de un modo aparentemente invisible pero que cubre todo como el polvo los muebles en un palacio y con una sexi limpiadora con un plumero va limpiando ese polvo y con un aire de provocacion y dice no a una imvitacion a tomar la ultima copa. Ambas son apuestas complicadas pero me gustan mucho Sofia Coll es una cancion muy prototipo, muy de imitacion Sueca. I think that Sofia, Nebulossa and of course St Pedro who is MY first choice, are great options for completely different reasons. I also like Yoly's song but it will depend on the staging as for all of them! Let's see what they will do live and may the best one win ❤️
It's a bolero. If you like it, I recommend you to listen "piel canela" from Los Panchos, it is one of the most famous. Emotive and beautiful. Hope boleros become fashionable again :)
This year we don't know what we'll do, and staging will be the key for us to make a decition. BF is getting greater each year. I think will be between Sofia Coll or St Pedro and both of them would be great. I fell in love with Pedro and I want to party with Sofia. My favourite song is Zorra of Nebulossa, but I think that those two are our options.
So, it's a nice bolero, it's unique, it's authentic, the falsettos are charming, it's a very chill and timeless song. I know what Spain is trying with it, if it goes in Eurovision they will try to have the same Salvador Sobral momemtum it's obvious. Will it work? The jury will like it for the voice, it will stand out because there would be nothing like that but will it grab enough the public during the big esc night to be on top, it's very VERY chill, so mystery.... My opinion, I like it, it's nice, but after listening once I've not the desire to listen to it again and again, even if this genre is timeless, I find the musical arrangement very dated especially the piano coming when he sings amooor, it puts me off the song instantly. I can see the appeal, the nostalgia that Spaniards and others can feel listening to this. I think the spanish public could be more behind an entry like this than behind the Sofia entry so let's see...you've understood that it's still not my choice for Spain for next year😉
@@Kostis_ESC that's the beauty of music, and of the different tastes that all we have 😉, as I said I can see the appeal and he could be the next Salvador, why not, but this song wasn't made for my ears I fear. It's still a very nice well made song with a beautiful voice but it doesn't make me feel something. Update!: he couldn't be the next Salvador as the top 2 Eurovision 2024 is already busy you know the split screen etc 🤣, so he could be the next "Chanel" and be top 3 at best. I'm kidding of course.

@@Kostis_ESC in fact it's simple I like the songs that makes me feel emotions that I like to feel, it could be a dance song or a ballad there's no rule 😉. Look Fuego doesn't me feel something that I really like but Euphoria yes, Amar Pelos dois does really nothing for me while Arcade totally, you see there are no rules. When it comes to jesc I prefer mid or uptempo songs cause I think it's more appropriate for this specific contest whose the aim is to bring joy and happiness, when it comes to the adult contest it's another story for me.
