It's been said before, but the voice acting here... it's pretty great. Bioware spent all their budget on trailer cinematics, voice acting and music. Everything else slips a little, but give them credit it here.
@@saintless Tasia Valenza knocks every voice role she's done out of the park. Poison Ivy, Shaak Ti, Sniper Wolf, Kaliyo Djannis, Spider Woman, she always voices the sensual characters, its amazing. :D

Her romance is definitely my favorite in the game. It's such a clear case of, "I love you but I'll die before I say it." You can even play your agent the same way. They can both be cagey - wanting more from the romance while simultaneously knowing that it will be farther than they've ever gone. Normally they both just play with other's emotions to get what they want, and so when they suddenly want each other ... Oh the *spice.* But she cares in her own way. Heck, she turned into a one woman army to terrorize Zakuul for what they took from her. I love this romance.
You know what that's called? Selfishness, complexes and disfunction. It's not a healthy relationship, it will not realistically last under any circumstances. What's the point of having a guaranteed cheat/narcissist for a partner that plays around instead of being plain? Tsunderes never work out. They suck as a concept
She sleeps around with other men in your relationship. I did the funny thing and divorced her for Temple. I think the Male agent is the only class capable of divorcing their wife.

@MC Cooper Nah. Jaesa is your subordinate and is rather emotionally immature when you find her. You literally take the place of her Master. Basically making you her ward/guardian. The fact that you can seduce Jaesa as her guardian is all kinds of squick in my opinion. It's the same reason I don't romance Ashara. In addition, my Warrior is arrogant but honorable. He only sleeps with those that are his equal or better. Basically Sith Lords and Darths, which Jaesa wasn't until after KotE.
Does the word even have meaning in the SW universe? I mean it only has meaning to us because of a very specifc series of events around the last great war, so unless the SW universe is actually supposed to be in our future (a long time ago in a galaxy far away my ass lol) it just doesn't add up
@@Dubrichius I'd say it's more a generic military dictatorship. I haven't read all the extended universe stuff but from what I know there was no attempt by Palpatine to create the Corporate State. The closest Fascist government to the Galactic Empire is probably Franco's Spain and that barely qualifies as Fascist either. Then again at this point people use Fascist to describe any non-democratic government lol
@@bjornnjalror1253 Fascism is more than just a non-democratic government, it's a political ideology based around the worship of the military, strong feelings of revanchism, and an overall desire to return/restore things to an idealized (and often utterly fictional) historical state of being. And personally, I would equate the Sith Empire from SW:ToR (which was the one I was talking about in my previous comment) more with the Empire of Japan than I would Nazi Germany or Franco's Spain.

This reunion seemed perfect for them because their relationship was never built around the 'softer' emotions like the rest of the comps. Agent and Kaliyo are straight up passion; burning hot and angry. Some people are like that and I like that Bioware took that into consideration rather than just having everyone 'happy happy joy joy' reunions.

Not really. If your SO just up and disappears for 5 years your relationship is pretty much over. You can’t just walk back and expect things to be the same. You can always pick up the pieces though

She didn't kill him and he invited her for a drink. Theirs was never 'soft and loving' romance. It was all passion and anger. And people have those kinds of relationships. It's a refreshing change from the normal romance trope.
