      MSRP is 103k dealer sales price was 79K. The under cabinet coffee bar light was one thing, the 75 gallon fresh tank, certified full time living and warrantied for use, comes with lithium battery, 4 heat ducts in the living room, comes with solar, built in drawer organizers for utensils and spices, tankless water heater, Bluetooth controls for everything including the door lock. All standard not optional, and the window behind the tv is being upgraded to one that opens and closes for more cross breeze.

    Love the toy hauler they make. The drop down knife storage and utensil storage in the kitchen should be standard across models, same with the fold up island leaf and soft close. Not everyone wants a toy hauler and it's not cool to miss out on those luxuries buying the regular fifth wheel.

    I’m so glad you and Maria reviewed this in a rig with it connected to power. I just toured one this morning and it is truly amazing. The one I looked at was already sold. It had the second AC which is optionally removed - it’s standard now. The mattress was just as you stated. I didn’t actually plop down on it since it was sold already but I opened and closed everything. The bathroom now has a full sized exhaust fan. The way it’s built there’s no real need for the drop frame. And the slide have tiny little lights. The only thing I wasn’t enthralled with is the pin box. I’m ordering vey soon.

    The theater seats upholstery does not match the sofa. WTF is that about? The dining seats still look like K-Mart to me. I don't GAS that they're leather. What is this? The first 5thW you've ever been in? Any Jayco or Keystone makes this thing look like a outhouse. Plus, no control panel tablet. 1950's Soviet electronics. You will get more use out of your toilet paper than the warranty on this POS. Don't need to know the price, convince me it's not overpriced.

    • @OurRoadLessTraveled
      @OurRoadLessTraveled  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ha ha, i got a giggle out of your comment. Its not uncommon to use different fabrics on seating surfaces. The dining seats are very comfortable. I would hardly call the LCI One Control "Soviet electronics". I would not attempt to change our mind, your thoughts are clear, and it appears you just don't like the rig. And its ok, we don't expect everyone to have the same taste as we do. Thank you for the comment, we really enjoyed it.

    • @rogerspalding5673
      @rogerspalding5673 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@OurRoadLessTraveled I don't want to give the impression that you two are anything less than completely nice people who are legitimate RV customers. Responding to you comment about Lippert LCI control panel, it just doesn't measure up to Keystone's InCommand or Jayco's Jaycommand solid state tablet style control panels. For instance, one cannot set the LCI HVAC to turn on at a pre-prescribed temperature, or turn on your generator when your batteries reach a certain level of discharge, and turn on your generator or solar powered aircon at a particular time of day. Except for the LCI touch activated buttons, there really is no difference between the antiquated button style control panels and what is offered in the Brinkley. It's my genuine hope that you guys compare some Forest River upper end 5thW models as well as Keystone and Jayco. The upper end Cougar 5thW, Alpine and Montana as well as the Jayco Eagle, North Point and Pinnacle are models with which it is difficult to compete; in terms of craftsmanship, price and warranty compliance. What I say about Grand Design also goes for Broinkley; What do you call the Brinkley Research and Development department? Answer: The Keystone Innovation Lab.

    • @OurRoadLessTraveled
      @OurRoadLessTraveled  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rogerspalding5673 Thank you for the clarification. Maria and I have never done an RV review before. Honestly, other than East to West; this is like the 3rd rig we really got to look at with no time constraints. Yes, we have been to the Tampa RV show, but only as paid entry, no early access. We were not even looking for a new rig. We saw this and needed some footage. Turns out we really liked it. It would fit our needs. We have never seen the brands you are speaking of. If we run across one, and we can get access to it; we will try and do a review. The things you mention don't really mean that much to us, and by that I mean; you don't miss what you don't have. We don't even have a generator in our current rig, we tote around a Champion 4500 dual fuel. For us, the Brinkley is the best we have seen in our limited shopping, but that is not a knock against any other brand; we just have not seen them yet. I do appreciate you bringing up the points, and look forward to checking them out. We have no plans to trade in our East to West anytime soon, but if we do; I promise to look at the Jayco line. Maybe 2024 will be the year we get early access at the Tampa RV show to see some of them, without people bumping into us or shooing us in and out.
