Can’t wait to see this. This version came out when I was ten. I wasn’t impressed at first but it grew on me as this was the version we’d watch every year. Now every word of dialogue, every note of music, every sound effect is in my soul at Christmas time!
didn't expect Ashleigh to watch the 1984 version after Muppets. It's not as iconic or recognisable as other adaptations but its good. The one thing I'd say is David Warner is possibly my favourite version of Bob Cratchit. The scene where Tiny Tim dies you can see him trying to hold back his sorrow. Gets me every time.
If you want A Christmas Carol with a sick beat, PLEASE check out A VHS Christmas Carol by Team Starkid. It is my favorite adaptation of the story ever, and full of so much heart and humor, coupled with a soundtrack that is 100% bops.
Miss asheligh if you want tune in the Christmas Carol check out Scrooge from 1970 the song Thank you Very Much will get stuck in your head almost immediately 100% guaranteed
You should have watched Scrooge with Albert Finney, loads of songs in that (and would introduce you to a song that Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell parody in Spirited, which I hope you watch at some point). And while we're at it it's not fair Hallowbeans gets at least x2 movies a week for the month but Jinglebeans only gets x1. Jinglebeans has got way too short (it's not like there's no more Christmas movies you haven't seen, there's tons).
@jamiesucie2685 Yes, I'm talking about the Alistair Sim film, which is officially titled "Scrooge" even though it's been marketed on DVD and such as "A Christmas Carol". Look it up.
@ I’ve been watching it every year for over 40 years. It has always been called A Christmas Carol, it’s IMDb is also A Christmas Carol. If it was marketed as Scrooge in the US, that’s on your country but it has always been known as A Christmas Carol, look it up.

@ awww thanks. Still not gonna change my mind. Sometimes she’s funny sometimes she’s obnoxious and sometimes she’s very cringe. Sorry if that hurts your feelings why you fangirl out over a TH-camrs. 🤣🤣🤣
This is my favorite version! George C. Scott was a fantastic actor. Loved him in Exorcist III and The Changeling.
Ohhhh, the disrespect! The humanity!!!! 😂
Yay, this is my favorite version of Christmas Carol!

Oh, the George C. Scott version. That should be fun.
I love this one because even after his reformation he's still kind of a dick.

This version is one of my favorite versions of the Scrooge tale. A few of the older versions are good as well.
The George C. Scott version was really good. I honestly thought the Patrick Stewart version was better.
The 1938 version with Gene, Kathleen, and June Lockhart is my personal favorite
This is why Muppet Christmas Carol is the best! 😂
Ashleigh it's 3 o'clock and it's Monday can we get the full version please and thank you?
That's why we watch.

Never be sorry Ashleigh, I was beat boxing with you lol
So much better ❤
You dumb hilarious. My kind of humor 😂😂😂

Beatboxing Ashleigh, get into it 🥰❤️

Looking good Asheilgh 🌷🌷🌷
Need a reaction to Doctor Who. Ashleigh reaction to the cheese would be priceless. Including the Doctor Who versions of A Christmas Carol.
"Scrooge" (1951) please! IMHO the best "Christmas Carol" on film!
It’s not call “Scrooge”, it’s called A Christmas Carol (1951) with Alister Sim

@ I stand corrected
Wait..*Fistbump*
I was hoping for "Scrooged!". But... she watched that one 3 years ago!

I so can't wait until Monday!
When do we see the reaction and not just the short? and yes, do 1970 Albert Finney's Scrooge next!!!
Usually within a week or two
Seeing as how much you liked Big Fish, maybe you'd enjoy seeing him in another film
That's actually not bad
Oh it exists. It’s called VHS Christmas carol 😂
Starkid is the best
I don't think I'm aware of this version 🤔
Says 1984, so George C. Scott version?
Couldn't hurt .
Don't be sorry - release a Christmas single :)
Yeah, it needs something... Muppets, maybe?
Patrick Stewart, anyone?
You should watch violent night....😅
Are you though? 😂
I preferred the one with Jim Carrey, personally.
Boots and cats and boots and cats…
A Christmas Carol with Alister Sim is the only version that should be watched. All others are just bastardizations
😂😂😂😂😂😂
No you're not :b
👍💵 and comment 💵 😉😁😎
No, you're not XD
The 1970 Scrooge had this great song.
