Driving through our beautiful city. You usually don’t see rain clouds in our city. You drove by 3 schools that I taught in during my 40 years of residence in beautiful Camarillo. Sorry it wasn’t a sunny day. We are surrounded by strawberry fields, and vegetable fields. Acres of oranges and lemons groves. You missed our beautiful library, and the many lovely homes on the area surrounding Old Town. It was a delight to drive down the grade to Camarillo. On a clear day when up in the higher elevations you can see the Channel Islands and the Pacific Ocean. I’m proud to live in this friendly town.
Brilliant and wonderful video! I love Camarillo. I used to stay in Camarillo as an exchange student (from Sweden) in my teens. That was in 1993. I later came back to Camarillo two times in 1995 and in 2005-2006. I used to live in a house on 38 Mansfield LN. My host family was only one person, but she did so great! She was awesome. Mary L. In the evening time from where I live up on the Mission Oaks hill area close to Santa Rosa rd., the view of the cars at night going up and down the Conejo Grade is very beautiful and amazing to see, in my opinion.
It's Camari-yo! That's the way to pronounce it right. Great schools, climate, location and shopping. Good people and excellent Police Department. Love it here!
