But people fail to realize that a draft profile is the analysis of his play and not how he will be in the NFL. Those draft analysis was talked about so much and they were true. Even Brees (cause Patrick brought him up) said with RE I guess it was, that those draft analysts were right about him back then. But players learn and develop
I don't think so. Some of those things could not have been true back then and then not be true now. Some of those things are defining characteristics that a QB either has or doesn't have and can't be developed.
You also have to take in account that their job it to be super critical. So if they see even one play maybe two plays where they saw something its worth noting that it might be an issue if you faced better talent.
You can tell Aaron is so confident, so poised. He KNOWS he’s the best QB in the league, and he carries himself like it. Go Pack Go! Cheesehead babyyyy 🧀💚💛
@GlazeJWK sorry, if you're talking about me, I'm an eagle fan, dumba$$. I couldn't care less about the vikings. Funny how you think nobody else but Vikings fans think he's a dick.
Watch some of the work he does for kids in his off season and then let me know how he's such a POS. While others are out blowing their entire money at the club and beating up their girlfriends, he's visiting kids who lost a parent in the military or to cancer and spending time with them to encourage them. He's known as one of the nicest guys in the league. Ego? Sure... that doesn't make him a bad guy or a POS. Just means he knows he's good. And he is.
Paul Williams how is that hating you little prepubescent weasel? The dude just credited Aaron Rodgers by saying that he’s smart enough to understand the game of football than Brady. Nothing wrong with thinking that.
Maybe his in depth knowledge of the game puts others in an embarrassing position because they don't have the same high level of knowledge, ( Mike Macarthy ?)
I am from nebraska, so I dont have any in state nfl team to be loyal to. I love the packers because of this dude. He is so down to earth, and honest, and charismatic. I feel like I could just sit down and have a conversation with him anywhere. Like he legit seems like someones cool older brother.
He was really upset at it during the 60 minutes interview and somebody said I thought you'd be taller, and you could tell Aaron was annoyed by that comment
Majik0715 he is going to be the next Tom Brady if he can either go to a real team, or get some real fucking GM's over in Green Bay. That team is been devoid of stars especially on the defense for his entire career. Only having stars for fleeting moments.
Yes Atlanta does have the best stadium. Aaron is always a great interview. Too bad him and his brother don't get along. I blame Jordan for running his mouth to the media about private family stuff.
drinkingpoolwater: I stated a fact. Nothing more. You are just like so many others on TH-cam. You comment on commenters, not on the video. Pathetic behavior indeed.
drinkingpoolwater well, I think it's natural for us all to want good things for others...? It's not like it's keeping the guy up at night thinking "aw man Aaron needs to get back to being good with his brother" lol.
You didn't really state a fact either. You have no idea what their relationship is like at this moment. You are just regurgitating what the media has wanted you to believe.
15:23 THE SOUND THAT MADE WAS INSANE. KICKERS CANT EVEN HAVE THE BALL MAKE THAT SOUND. I’m a DIE-HARD Bears fan. And I know that he is the best in the league by more than a long shot. When he has decent people to throw to and a good defense you can bank on him taking them to the conference championship every year.
The amount of salt surrounding Dez dropping it (not just from lil' buddy Dan here but everyone who doesn't understand the rules) will never fail to make me smile. Even stupid rules are rules, and it doesn't matter in the slightest whether you agree with them or not. With better rules in place, it would have been a catch, but the refs made the right call on that play given the stupid rules they were forced to work with. Dez dropped it, end of story.
No, #12 is the best. He leads teams with suspect offensive lines and underachieving defenses to the playoffs year after year. They lost an incredible amount of players due to injuries in 2010, and look what happened. If Brady is GB's quarterback, they don't do nearly as well. Rodgers is filthy as a pass thrower.
I agree with Rodgers, according to the rules, the Dez catch was not a catch. In any other league, from pop warner, back yard, all the way to college, that is a catch. The NFL rule made it so it's not a catch. I was at the game, and said the exact same thing. Hopefully now the simplifying of the rule can get arid of the questionable catch no catch rulings.
Hi! Aaron Rodgers. My name is Paul Vong. Nice to meeting you and, i am hoping you are doing great. Are you there or available on this tube, if so we can talk about the physical training for the rest of the 2919 NFL season. Thank you very much.
Dez Bryant can make that play all he wants but Aaron still has 4 fucking minutes to come back and win the game... Cowboys still have 4 minutes to stop the Packers and score. Wah wah wah
How can you be happy about this situation GB is in. As fans we should've been eating our words 5 years ago. McCarthy has done fuck all for Aaron Rodgers. It's tragic how his career has panned out, only 1 SB for arguably the most gifted QB of all time. Ridiculous management from GB.
Majik0715 but according to common sense, he caught that ball. He caught it, turned upfield and purposefully dove forward and stretched his arm out to get the touchdown. Not even a cowboys fan. Just a fan of common fucking sense rules. A "football move" is WAY to subjective and arbitrary. It opens up for the potential of refs trying to influence the outcomes of games. Think about it. A call can go either way. Everyone can disagree, but it's almost always something subjective, and therefore impossoble to definitively decide one way or the other

Nice to know he is good friends with Alex Smith. Both class acts.
Yeah and I really love Rodgers's smooth/confident demeanor...
i always though alex smith looks like adam from rules of engagement lol
Eliot but skeeeyup
The fact he didn’t throw any shade at him or wasn’t negative was super amazing. They were digging for some drama and they didn’t find it.
But that was brutal watching dude drop to 22nd ... just looking at his face ...
I like how Rodgers is a personal guy and doesn’t act like he’s being controlled by a PR guy
He's very warm and authentic, which feels like the opposite of Brady

Dan Patrick's scouting report:
- Doesn't let guest finish thoughts
- asks irrelevant questions at times
- predictable
- no emotion
- Talks over guest
Yea, not the best guy out there doing interviews, not a good listener.
He's the worst, Eisen is better
Pretty ironic about the negatives on the bad draft comments. Rodgers is actually the exact opposite of all those negatives.
But people fail to realize that a draft profile is the analysis of his play and not how he will be in the NFL. Those draft analysis was talked about so much and they were true. almost laughable. how can the scouts be so wrong, as in analysis of what they actually see = mahomes
I don't think so. Some of those things could not have been true back then and then not be true now. Some of those things are defining characteristics that a QB either has or doesn't have and can't be developed.

Scouts are idiots. That's why they're always wrong.
Rodgers damn near decapitated that dude!
Brady’s resume > Rodger’s resume, Rodgers as a player > Brady as a player. Not even a Packers fan but it’s just true.
trublu97, well obviously the function of the game is to win. But the entire team wins and loses. Not just the QB.
Someone who finally gets it lol
Winning is a function of the team, not the QB.
Exactly lol
Its really that simple

Don't you mean, he's so arrogant, so conceited, so into himself? Such a head case? Those are better descriptions of him.
I agree, this dickhead is all about himself.
Saint Aubyn Tom Brady is the best QB

Doesn't really matter if he caught it. There was still 4 mins left on the clock. Cowboy fans should know what that means by now.
Dustin Mcphetridge exactly!! He would've done something anyways😂
He specifically said "by the rules" for a reason. He didn't say he agreed with the rules :)

That's what I thought too.
They are both CA cool
Two Kids Brady too lol. Damn Californians
I literally never noticed that until right now, and I watch him every sunday.

I don't understand what's so difficult for people to understand about the catch rules they're honestly pretty simple
The rules are simple but often not easy to enforce. There's too much room for subjectiveness as to when a receiver "has control" or "loses control".
