Thank you Luke for filling a very large gap in Worship music which has existed on the internet forever. God richly bless you as you serve Him in this special way.

Luke, this is so precious to my heart ! Many times over my lifetime, I have sung this song in re-dedication of parts of my life, being convicted by the Spirit that I had not yet given Him all.....but that last and rather unknown verse is SO powerful.... to actually feel the Holy presence of our Immanuel is what has empowered me to experience many types of losses and still surrender them all to God Who knows the plan He has for me!!!

Absolutely beautiful. The glorious ole hymns of former days should be brought back into the liturgical life of the mainline churches. Even some of the evangelical churches have removed the congregational singing of the hymns putting in their place the music/singing from a worship group. In so doing we are losing our heritage not being able to sing such hymns as "I surrender all." The First Methodist Church of Dallas has brought back many of the glorious ole hymns to their worship; and, attendance is once again on the upswing and there is a sense of much joy displayed upon the faces of the congregation. Thank you Luke for your wonderful ministry.

I surrender all must be the challenge for all believers as we struggle between the physical versus our spiritual lives! A truly inspirational hymn that helps us to surrender - all! 🙏🙏

I've never heard that 5th verse before, your commentary on the baptism of the Holy Spirit spoke very much to my own testimony. After 20 years as a Christian I found myself fully sacrificing and surrendering and through the Holy Spirit was transformed and felt assured of my salvation for the first time.
Those"forgotten" verses are perhaps my favorite part of this channel. Blessings!

I knew nothing about this song, then late one night I was very troubled about decisions I needed to make and went to sleep troubled and in a strange place. I was woken up with a voice singing this song to me, and now I am forever changed by it🙏🏽🙏🏽.This is a powerful, powerful praise to our Lord and savior Christ Jesus.

To follow Jesus, we should surrender all, although it is not easy to do it. Like apostle Paul did, he is a good model for us. Our self, ego, pride, will , our nature should be crucified on the cross, and let Christ lives in us. We should live Christ in our daily life. Amen.

Hi Brother Luke, I appreciate very much your talk about sanctification's role in the Christian life. Throughout Scripture this is a theme but the way Scripture is studied by many does not allow for this conclusion. In both Old and New Testaments there are specific calls to holiness.eg. Leviticus Chapters 19-20. 1Peter1:15,16. And my personal favorite: Hebrews 12:14 Pursue peace with all men, and holiness WITHOUT 15:17 which no man shall see the Lord. Help us Holy Spirit. This can only be accomplished with His enabling power. He IS able and willing because He desires our glorification or living in heaven with Him after His return.

(Just wondering if i heard correctly? Mr Deventer died in 1939 not sure Billy Graham would of heard him preach in the 1950's.....but he would be quite old? )Thanks for your awesome ministry! My how praise and worship has really seem to go from holy spirit filled, theological sound to very worldly. Just my opinion.

You're not mistaken on the point that Church worship music has changed. Unfortunately, it was a planned change by the leaders of Vatican 2. You can check that out by search on You Tube or Google. In fact they suggested and initiated the entire liturgical (format) of worship to broaden into what we see today in various congregational styles. The entire ecumenical agenda was initiated then to get the various Church denominations to harmonize with Rome. It's Baby steps back to the mother Church as they see it. Again all this will be revealed in a search. Our guide IS the Bible when there is any discrepancy between what man wants and what God wants.

If one does not surrender all, are they going to hell?

  • @pseudotonal

If Wesley wanted people to have assurance of salvation then he shouldn't have taught that we can be gradually saved, which is a heresy. If we are gradually being saved, we cannot know when we are fully saved. Salvation is sudden and complete. Sanctification is gradual. We are not suddenly sanctified. That is also heresy. If we could become fully sanctified before we die then we wouldn't sin. Our sin is so insidious that we barely know its extent. The more sanctified we become the more we know our sin's depth. That is what the Apostle Paul taught.

I will never support your ministry. I used to like it. But when I found out you played Rock of ages in a Rock 'N' Roll style and you literally destroy that song. And you don't see the discernment there? Then I don't want you to guide my life and I can't support you.

You don't give second chances? What if Jesus treated us that way? We'd be doomed. I pray that you change this hard line position. Sure, stand for principle but be every ready to forgive the mistakes of others. If a brother repents and ask for forgiveness more than 70 times seven forgive him. Even if he doesn't ask for forgiveness forgive him.
