For me it was my reload/interaction button, so if i shot i would shoot 1 bullet and it would auto reload my gun or if i was running by something it would always pick it up. In COD it made it where i couldn’t even sprint
Fr don’t buy scuffs I got my controller with all the paddles sticking from the factory had to email them like 4 times just to get a response months later and at that point I had to send it in for stick drift issues to.. Got it back and 2 days later the other joystick had stick drift😂 don’t waste your money boys🤞
@@TeddwardGot mine brand new and was having that exact issue with not being able to sprint in cod they sent me an entire replacement and first day it did the EXACT same thing and my L2 was broken as well
bruh i don’t get how ppl always have an issue with scuf controllers. My scuf impact i’ve used for many years is fine with no signs of stick drift at all and paddles work flawlessly. My scuf reflex i’ve had for about a year is also fine. I feel like ppl don’t take care of their controllers even when they’re worth more than the console they play on…
My scuf had stick drift within 4 weeks. “ Taking care” of your controller has nothing to do with it. Some people get lucky and get ones that are fine. But a lot of people have issues early on. I bet all your favourite pro players / content creators have 3 or 4 scufs on hand at all times because they don’t last.
I’ve had 2 scuf controllers before and I have never broken the paddles I feel like a lot of people who break them just have like a heavy finger when pushing them lol
Accidentally hit the dislike on your comment. I fixed it though. Also you’re right I have paddles and never had a problem. Also see people complaining about stick drift yet insist on using the joystick for common inputs like crouching and editing in fortnite. Quick fix use paddles instead.
I have a different problem, every time I even slightly put it down on my desk a little too hard, the rounded part of the trigger flattens out. It’s ridiculous and as someone with OCD I absolutely hate it to bits
I've owned all of my scufs for years at a time and never have these issues with mine. I've only experienced slight stick drift but it's only after about a year of competing in FPS games. You can always just use isopropyl alcohol and clean everything every couple months or so.
mine showed this the first time i played with it, i sent it in with an RMA and it was returned to me with the same issue. Almost as if they didnt do anything.
Well ive had mine for a little over a year, but never had that issue. My issue is now that the paddles aren't responding. Sometimes it'll work after turning my controller off then back on, or it'll just randomly work or stop working mid game. The button on the back to switch profiles flickers as if its dying out
I think it’s cuz the buttons are very small and the long paddle is adding a ton of leverage to press on it. If they used a larger diameter button and a shorter paddle, it would last longer. Battle beaver uses just straight up buttons with no lever, I haven’t heard of anyone breaking them but idk. There’s also a website that sells larger buttons included in a diy back button kit for ppl that wanna spend a ton of time making their own controller
I’ve had mine since it dropped and hasn’t gave me any problems besides the dirty grips that you can’t clean😂 which is why I’m switching to a scuff..so I don’t have to see dirt all over my controller
Thats started happening with my ps4 infinity pro and i have to double tap a bottom button to slide in battlefield 5 and after like 2 1/2 years of only using that controller for that game its started happening but its very rare
Always happens to me . Bought one fresh out the box and had the same issue as my old controller. Guess that’s just how they are made . Wasted money on a poorly designed controller.
Just ordered to try again for the 6th time. All of my ps5 scufs had a problem with L3 And l1 acting as square so if i try to shoot it shoots 1 bullet and reloads instantly super weird glitch man
Hey bro don't listen to these haters in the comments it is a problem with the reflex I have 3 of them and it is pretty annoying I was wondering how do you remove the paddles? I wanna try and clean underneath and see if that helps at all. it just seems like they aren't supposed to be taken off
DO NOT BUY A SCUFF CONTROLLER After just one month of owning a Scuff FPS controller for PS5 (420 Canadian dollars tax and shipping included), I had to send it back for in-waranty repair. Hair triggers were squeaky! It took another month to come back to me! 7 months later, L2 button (aim down the sight for Call of Duty and most fps games) fails, no click sound and no response. The warranty on a controller that costs almost the same as the playstation itself is only 6 months and at this point I don't trust this vendor and neither should you!
im using mine for a year and never had this problem, maybe you should stop eating while playing. the only problem i have is stick drift and i broke a trigger but thats my fault
I’ll never buy a scuf again. They don’t honor there warranty’s very well… I’ve had over 10 scufs and I unfortunately got a defective ps5 scuf controller recently. I sent it in and received it back still broken. Before I ended up in the hospital I emailed them explaining the issues were not fixed, it seemed like they just sent it back to me without even looking at it or fixing it. The lady said send it back in we will have one of better techs look at it. Which is odd you’d think all there techs would be good. A week later I got hurt and I explained I was stuck in traction I broke my femur and it be a month or two before I could be able to get it in. She said that’s fine I will note it in the computer. 6 weeks later I emailed them and said I’m ready to send it in. They said your warranty is up by a week!! I only got 6 months.. I explained I talked to a lady that said I’d be ok and showed the email copy I had. Even know I only had the replacement 2 months and didn’t use it because it was broken I was denied! They go off the original date of purchase not the date of when it was suppose to be fixed. So I’m stuck with a scuf where I can’t aim it’s like it has stuck drift but the controller was used less than 4 hours since purchase. You’ll be aiming and it will jerk to the left in a glitchy pattern. Spent over a thousand dollars and never sent a controller in to get repaired and the first time I do Im denied. I will just buy Sonys controller at least I can replace the joysticks and there warranty has never denied me and always reset when a product is replaced.
Sounds like you sweat to much in the hands bw100 I stand by bw100 after i tired it clean up a few old scufs works try it out cleans up stick drifts too
I treat my controllers perfectly fine, twice now my dual sense edge has been having r2 issues and where it just stops responding, guess I have terrible luck lmao
