A shield is the no1 life saver early game, you should make one. Also the saber and rapier are both one handed and reduce the damage you take by 25% for the cost of durability Also, you can make crates with a carpentry bench, that are like double chests in one block Also also, the thorns in the purple biome next to the big village are a substitute to flint when crafting arrows, and the purple mushrooms can craft defiled powder that can be used to turn iron blocks to umbrium ones, allowing you to make a better armor with a set bonus And the RAD helmet and leggings provide different buffs for each set piece
Brother Chosen. You complain about the mobs being in the air.... You can craft throwing spears, throwing knives, throwing axes, bows, crossbows, a summoning stuff, yet you only bring a base iron sword with you, not even a spear or halberd which are just better weapons due to the reach advantage. If you want to use a sword then at least have a shield as well... Dregora is hard, but not being prepared makes it even harder. Half of the mobs you fight could be dealt with if you just run for a bit and spam any projectile.
yeah, it matters a lot to know what you're going to do against what you will face in the future, i usually have a mixup for every occasion, onehanded weapons for shielding, pike to not spend too many throwables and for certain melee mobs that reach out a lot, and a throwable/bow for every mob that shoots a lot, if the fight changes, you must adapt quickly to it, taking damage in the start is highly undesired, knowing what to do when will reduce risk not 30%, not 50%, but rather a 70%. otherwise unprepared just gets you out of the 99% fatality rate, they can hook you right back i use the scenery a lot when i fight, by the way, it helps a lot, otherwise i wouldn't be able to fight a lot of the creatures i faced so far, too bad i barely use blockouts or place blocks in general, they would've saved many deaths
Rlcraft is good because it showcases just how bad Lycanites mobs can be. Tips: Look up adjacent crop placement, you can double your crop growth by placing different line of crops next to each other. Like most people had pointed out, to deal with flying/ranged mobs is a ranged weapon. And summoning staff is by far the best thing to deal with big flying mobs such as the dragons. Plop on a backpack, it is your grave mod for this pack. Stone based mobs like the Geonach are weak to pickaxe, while tree based mobs are weak to axe.
Find a Lycanites structure and take its blocks, you don't have to in you can just clear the entrance area and get plenty. Not only do they have near-obisidian blast resistance, but they are are also nonflammable and dragon-proof. They can be easily mined with stone or iron pickaxes tool, and the light blocks can also be broken without silktouch. Concrete basically has no blast resistance. Keep an eye out for wildberry bushes and take them when you see them. The wildberries give 1 food and 1/2 water each and grow all year afaik. @5:00 You can change the config of the limb health mod to show you hearts per part rather than the little dude with the colours. Gives you way better visual of each limb's actual health. @14:45 You can place chests of different types side-by-side. So mix in some oak chests with your spruce chests @20:00 You need to duplicate the atlas and keep a copy at home at all times. The duplicate will update alongside the one you carry with you, so you can use that as a master copy to make more in the future. But if you lose all copies and have to make a new one then you have to start over. @39:40 Don't forget about grave scrolls.
It’s so funny to watch you stumble around getting your barrings when I’m normally looking to your videos because I’m stumbling around and you know so many mods
Just some basic tips: Tip 1 range: RLCraft has a whoooole weapon system with multiple ranged weapons as probably been said by others. Throwing spears, Throwing knives, Hatchets,.... are your best friends when it comes to the pesky flying big ranged mobs in the game. Tip 2 taming: It is not as hard as it seems. You need to farm certain mobs for their meat and make the specific treat that the mount requires. You could get lucky and tame them with one treat, you could need 20 treats. Tip 3 progression: You shouldn't even bother mining, it's more of an exploration mod, that means that you should try and take on the multiple dungeons/towers surrounding your location. You have already found a tower I would recommend clearing just the bottom levels, those would give you a couple of weapons and baubles that would grant you a lot of boosts and immunities.
I'm so glad you're doing this mod. You were the one who showed me RL craft in the first place. I was like when is chosen architect going to do dragora right 😊
That pudge hook can become a fairly op combat tool (its like the spider hook, but instead pulls entities to you, letting you pull a single mob out, pull down a flyer, or pull items to you
You need to check the quality of weapons and armor, it can cause buffs or debuffs based on its quality same as baubles Also try to make some craftable baubles and if you get a bad quality, make a reforging station when you can to reroll their quality
When you get the heart of diamond you could make Ring of the Dwarves or Potion Ring of Resistance, Ring of the Dwarves makes you 3/4th the normal size, improves mining speed, gives you xp from mining stone and gives you a pseudo fortune effect which stacks with a pickaxe that already has fortune. I think making a farm under ground would help against the mobs that spawn from breaking crops because they can't fly out of your reach and weapons with reach would help too
Is this episode a JoJo reference? Also you can just put that greenhouse glass over the crops, it helps to limit the area where Spriggans can flee to, easier to kill, double xp farm. When you go into mines just put double chest near entrance to bigger dangerous caves and store items over time not to lose them all.
I know it didnt happen in this episode, but remember that those rock monsters that pop out in your mining take extra damage from your pickaxe :) good luck Chosen!
So, a huge thing with this pack’s world gen: you need to make your way to 0,0 (use a compass), the spawn zone has a citystructure thing that shows you snapshots of the 4 cardinal directional biome layouts (each direction has a sort of semi-theme) as well as the diagonal lesser directions (also themed, but can get overlapped by the cardinals), plus it also has more info and helpful stuff and the like as well
You could also craft bandages from wool and plant fiber/string to heal limbs. Such as if limbs go grey. it's healing and it's slow but early game it helps if you are exploring and not near a nymph.
Most of the building materials you used should work great, but watch out for using too much plain vanilla cobblestone. There is a fire event that can spawn that will melt cobblestone into lava. Sucks when your building becomes a lava tomb.
There is tons more exp to be looted from towers. Cheese those towers by digging around then you won't have to farm so much and it gives a LOT more exp. Alsom look into all the weapons. I'm pretty sure that there a saber weapon that absorbs 25% of damage recieved.
Creeper are much worse on this mod. When they blow up, they have chance to summon an explosive themed enemy (Tremor). The fire they cause can spawn fire themed enemies (Cinder). By the way there is a dodge (leap) ability on agility skill tree. That might be useful for running away from enemies.
I hope the tips everyone is leaving in the comments can really help you out. I'd like to see you overcoming these challenges instead of just dying and loosing your stuff over and over again
All of these episodes were prerecorded for Thanksgiving break. But god damn is this frustrating to watch. Like I get not know, but I would have at least googled strategy by now instead of just constantly dying and losing my shit.
you should build tunnels from one place to another, like from your house to your mine. make it out of stone maybe. also you could dig down and make an underground tunnel maybe
Hey Chosen!.. just a small F.Y.I. at the end of the video right when you recalled home near the death bird you were near (what i believe) was an underground city... but i could be wrong.. keep an eye open for them as i believe they have waystones in them and make a great hiding spot
just letting u know before u go try and tame a lycanites mob down the line, i think they massively increased the amount of treats you need (from what I remember). It took me several stacks of dragon treats (and the ability to tank it for that long) to tame one in a newer modded server i ran with lycanites
You slowly getting your foothold, but you should do need a backpack to store your most valuable loot and a shield you can craft javelins or spear for flying mobs and make sure to activate dodge in your agility section
If you combine the atlas with another atlas it makes a copy that updates as yours does. I believe if you make a new atlas it ticks up to the next number and you have to re explore everything
chosen, make a grappling hook, its a great thing to have also go to nether to mine cinncinite to make crates, they are mini shulker boxes the town should have lot of golds but thats it also capture some pixies in a jar
My Series summary currently: ChosenArchitect. The man that refuses to think outside the box. Stubborny fought the rats, opening the spawner. Instead of... Well... Making a small hole to right click the items he dropped instead of shift grabbing them. Refused to just... Fight a big plant that is land locked with just taking the high ground. Used Iron Doors for mobs to have a harder chance of not invading inside. Thinks that using a Pressure plate is a good idea.
Walk right past the zombie and don't see it, two minutes later "Omg, he appeared out of nowhere!". No, no he didn't xD Edit: for ranged weapon, you can make throwing knifes, if it makes it easier for you to reach further away than just a regular bow
Raid battle towers asap. climb up outside to the top, make sure not to wake up the golem, also use a hopper on the chest as to not wake it up, besides the golems chest, dont bother with the others below.
I am really enjoying your pain and suffering with this mod pack 😂 I have watched and played similar and struggled myself. Glad to see you pushing through with it tho!!! I really enjoy this style of video compared to your God like mastery of more tech related packs
I remember the tower/sky base build from the othe RLcraft series.. surrounde by lava on the bottom and all thato keep mobs away and all that. was relaly fun to watch
what i did in my hardcore run was i rushed to get an enchnatment table and anvil. then i got protection 4 gold armor set.(why gold?) gold armor has free mending that you can unlock in the skill menu. enchantments are more important then the material your tools and armor are made out off. also gold waepons get bonus dmg if you wear gold armor.
Just a heads up not sure what was the last rlcraft version you played but mount saddles for lycanites are different now. Its still worth taming and soulbinding a morrock but it can take a while to use it for flight. I had a huge problem finding the mountain trolls for the recipe
Honestly, the main problem I have with this pack, from what I've seen, is that enemy scaling is just ridiculous. It goes from challenging but possible, to practically impossible, in no time at all.
@chosenarchitect i see some comments that says if you make a backpack is working as a grave mod and is placed automatically placed down when you die and save all your items. I press the like button on comments like this and maybe you will see. Maybe will press the like also here and maybe chosen will see ,i dont know how is working and if is working
Now with the ender pearl you can craft a way stone in your home so you can teleport directly to your base without the worry of traveling and encountering bs
Chosen, i know the point of the game is to be difficult, but it became painful for you and for me as a viewer seeing tons of progress just gone. So maybe just add a grave mod?
A backpack works as a grave mod, as it gets automatically placed down when you die. Preventing the items stored inside of it from despawning.
Its useful mod
Yes, I’ve been screaming this lol
I'm screaming for a mining container since E02 (and emergency gears+weapons)
also doubles for keeping useful tools easy to grab in the mound of your death, less bothersome principally when you need to go into action immediately
I believe it can be destroyed by mobs depending on how they attack.
A shield is the no1 life saver early game, you should make one. Also the saber and rapier are both one handed and reduce the damage you take by 25% for the cost of durability

Stone based mobs like the Geonach are weak to pickaxe, while tree based mobs are weak to axe.
Mining is not worth it, just don't even bother with it
Also don't use a normal sword. There are so many better alternatives
AND PLEASE USE A SHIELD

Make a boomerang for range attack until you get arrows
Boomerangs are your friend, the era of bows is long gone, the ability to throw out returning ranged melee damage is op, especially dual wielded
I'm so glad you're doing this mod. You were the one who showed me RL craft in the first place. I was like when is chosen architect going to do dragora right 😊
Dying that much is now a skill issue.
100%. He’s literally doing nothing to help himself.
Maybe for your crop farm, add a ceiling and walls so if a spriggan spawns, it can't escape your melee range
Watching you wave your sword at a flying spriggan kills me inside 💀
That pudge hook can become a fairly op combat tool (its like the spider hook, but instead pulls entities to you, letting you pull a single mob out, pull down a flyer, or pull items to you
The spider hook is a Huge movement buff, you can spiderman around

24:50 that is so lucky that they just so happened to be in that order one after the other is the luckiest thing ive seen all day
Some weapon is two handed, when you put another item on your left hand will effect the damage to drop 50% and make it slower.
Damn that village at the end was insane. I wish vanilla villages were like that 😊
The pillagers spawning inside the city sure sucks haha
Hey Chosen, Word of advice the saber is your best bet against lycanite mobs, and the katana will help against armored mobs
You should definitely make a boomerang reusable ranged weapon, no ammo to worry about and really good enchants can be put on it
So, a huge thing with this pack’s world gen: you need to make your way to 0,0 (use a compass), the spawn zone has a citystructure thing that shows you snapshots of the 4 cardinal directional biome layouts (each direction has a sort of semi-theme) as well as the diagonal lesser directions (also themed, but can get overlapped by the cardinals), plus it also has more info and helpful stuff and the like as well

chosen: runs around on ice
also chosen: has a boat in his inventory
Episode 4: Chosen discovers superfly
I hope the tips everyone is leaving in the comments can really help you out. I'd like to see you overcoming these challenges instead of just dying and loosing your stuff over and over again

Chosen, if you use trapped chests, you can place them next to regular ones. That is how I got around the placement restrictions.
You can also just used a different type of chest. Oak in between.
Or just use crates which is a double chest in one block
Quick tip: You can right-click items on the ground to pick them up... 37:40
If you combine the atlas with another atlas it makes a copy that updates as yours does. I believe if you make a new atlas it ticks up to the next number and you have to re explore everything
Rapiers are the best weapon and I personally love the pike, the reach from it is insane
that new base is super fly
Enclose everything is definitely the meta
100% you need to make a backpack and keep everything in it, it drops down as a block upon death, and if you set things right you can hot key it
Regen nymphs spawn from flowers so they provide not just color but a good ally to spawn from if you decide to place then around your base!
chosen, make a grappling hook, its a great thing to have
also go to nether to mine cinncinite to make crates, they are mini shulker boxes
the town should have lot of golds but thats it
also capture some pixies in a jar
You need these green dinossaurs, their food gives regeneration when cooked I think. You can breed them to farm, they are passive.
My Series summary currently:
ChosenArchitect. The man that refuses to think outside the box.

Thinks that using a Pressure plate is a good idea.
If u need cyan pigment, go to a swamp biome and gather the swampflower. It becomes cyan dye

Use the hopper to channel into barrels. Do NOT use chests. Opening even your own placed chest will trigger the golem.
Use the hopper to channel into barrels. Do NOT use chests. Opening even your own placed chest will trigger the golem.
Think some of the flowers in the huge village can get you cyan dye.
I.m froom kuwait.
I learned English because of watching your videos. Keep going.
You need to travel. Collect waystone points. Use the random death spawns to your advantage.
I am really enjoying your pain and suffering with this mod pack 😂 I have watched and played similar and struggled myself. Glad to see you pushing through with it tho!!! I really enjoy this style of video compared to your God like mastery of more tech related packs
I was so tempted to try this mod, but seeing you struggle like this, I think I will stick to watching lol
If i recall correctly, i believe you can put a different wood chest next to your spruce
use throwing axe for flying mobs theyre very strong and cheap only need stick string and stone
Make a grappling hook ! Also maybe its a good idea to install the grave thing mod
Would really suggest making some (better survival) throwing spears to deal mobs early game
DONT GIVE UP. YOULL BECOME SUPER STRONG SOOON
First time seeing, tips and tricks going the other way around. 😂😂😂😂
Use your axe against Plant Lycanite mobs
Use your pick against rock Lycanite mobs
I remember the tower/sky base build from the othe RLcraft series.. surrounde by lava on the bottom and all thato keep mobs away and all that. was relaly fun to watch
For the chest situation just change the log type for the chest and you should be good!
Bro why did you forget that Minecraft Shield exists ???😂😂 I will help you alot
Wait until he finds out about mining zombies
O.O
Make sure to reseal that wall hole you made!!!
This is your best play through so far lol
Craft some throwing knives or throwing axes for range if you don't have arrows
Make a copy of the atlas and keep the copy at base. If you die and have to make another atlas, keep making a copy and leave one at base.
what i did in my hardcore run was i rushed to get an enchnatment table and anvil. then i got protection 4 gold armor set.(why gold?) gold armor has free mending that you can unlock in the skill menu. enchantments are more important then the material your tools and armor are made out off. also gold waepons get bonus dmg if you wear gold armor.

@chosenarchitect i know this is a little late but please try using axes for tree based mobs might do extra damage

Maybe will press the like also here and maybe chosen will see ,i dont know how is working and if is working
please tame some dragons later👍
trap chest reg chest trap chest come on your a pro right lol i only see like a few more episodes lol
Now with the ender pearl you can craft a way stone in your home so you can teleport directly to your base without the worry of traveling and encountering bs
Waystone requires a nether star, not an ender pearl
@waliedsalam2487 thanks I didn't know that Dregora changed the recipe.
Recall potions are a dime a dozen. Burn em up
screaming at my screen make a shield get a backpack you have the materials awhhhhhhh......
24:21 no shot someone put their password as "12345" 😂😂😂
use can use trapped chests inbetween the regular chests and just use as regular and that should work
0:20 What base? 😂
Need greenhouse glass over it for year round
Tanzanite, IRL, is 1k times rarer than diamonds.
you can shift click a chest to pick it up
XP Tomes saves "Lives"
Use a shield, a rapier or sabre. And try more combat.
make a boomerang or a throwable weapon
Please don't quit! This is amazing, I can't wait every day for these episodes
This let’s play is horrible. He’s clearly not having fun and it shows.
14:40 trap chest can be plased close to normal chest
I need like 5 episodes a Day😂😂
You can put trapped chest next to chests
Chosen, i know the point of the game is to be difficult, but it became painful for you and for me as a viewer seeing tons of progress just gone. So maybe just add a grave mod?
Pain is infinite in RLcraft
putting pressure plates outside of doors might be a bad ides use buttons instead.
