@@hellodumplings8564 depends on the severity. I've had carpal tunnel before. The whole pain/pinching sensation in the wrist that comes with it. I had to take a week off of basically doing nothing. Eventually the pain did go away. But if it's super bad and that the nerves are being pinched badly, yes you need that surgery.

I ended up mentioning it to a retired doctor who actually felt my arm when I had the muscle flexed and told me that's torn and there is nothing I can do because it's been to long. @@michaelccozens It's a doctor issue here. I live in eastern part of EU so the only good doctors here are the old guard left from the days of independance who's rapidly dying out. The rest simply goes west to get payed 3 times as much in way better facilities or at least moves to capital city if they feel extra patriotic. It was getting a little shark jumpy and most episodes followed the same pattern. I enjoyed it, but I also think most series are better then they're limited.
The one thing that's more irritating than House is patients or their family who expect doctors to know everything and to be miracle workers as well. If doctors were half as brilliant as the expectations put on them then 90% of medical problems could be solved without even needing hospitals, examination rooms, et cetera.
Seems like a necessary evil, saying that would incline to the kids that since the patient is in danger they might be as well so telling him information might help them in the future.

Actually the only “cure” for Carpal Tunnel is surgery.
Although resting it or supporting can ease the pain.
