Grammatik Aktiv is seriously the best book for grammar! I use it too, and I just love to work with it! ❤
Absolutely! 🙌
I personally prefer Hueber to Cornelsen as a publisher. But Grammatik Aktiv is an exception to this rule because it covers you need to learn German grammar the right way, with really interesting examples ❤
Thanks for the info on the books.
Thank you Alice! I follow you on Instagram and as I've recently started learning German your video was recommended to me. I'll definitely check out some of these as I look to get some books! :)

@@alice-elizabeth would you become a policewoman if you could and i mean that with the greatest of respect admiration and compliments when i say you have the personality character of a policewoman either in germany or england and still treat vulnerable weak people you arrest handcuff with humanity fairness compassion
Now I finished my German classes online!
Yay, well done!
Danke. ihre Informationen sind sehr hilfreich
Thanks! Glad you found it helpful!
may i ask in what order should u read the books? or do u read it all simultaenously?
Are you using anything else other than the exercise books? For example, TV shows, novels, etc.? Also are there any German TH-camrs you watch? I'm a big fan of Mirellativegal, for example. Watching TH-cam in German is basically how I'm keeping up my German skills these days. Haha. I believe you are living in Germany? I studied in Germany, but now am living in France with my boyfriend and am learning French. I'm still at a beginner's level in French though.
I listen to German music and use German whenever I go out too, but to be honest I've not been as involved with my studies as I used to be. At B2 level I mainly want to focus on the grammar because it's something I struggle with the most. And yes I'm in Germany now. Ooh that's great, good luck with your French language journey!! :D
watching this video and wondering when i'll be able to take a look at the German language hahah
anyway, loved the video, you're so pretty!!
I hope you get to start learning German soon! Aw thank you that's so kind! 🥺 I thought I was kinda ugly in this video ahaha 😂
Dankeeeeeeeeee dear madam
What are your recommendations for A1 level?
Please tell how to get buy these books from UAE
Hi alice, I have recently finished b1 by self study but I have heard that for b2 i should get a teacher because it’s very harder than b1 a2 a1 ...I’m really confused, could you please give me some advices?
I'd say B2 is quite difficult as it focuses mostly on grammar, but I only found it difficult because I struggle with grammar. So you might find it ok. If you can, maybe try out B2 lessons and see how it goes? I took B2 lessons, then self-studied and went over what I'd learnt from the classes again, and then took B2 classes again to eventually take the exam. Lessons aren't for everyone though so if you feel like self-studying is better for you then go for it! :)
👍
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the video!
Thank you so much !😆 I like your accent where are you from ?
Haha thanks, I’m from the UK.
Thx for the video. Could you send me the link for Grammatik AKtiv for A1-B1 level, please? Thank you
Hi! This is the link for A1-B1 level: www.amazon.co.uk/Grammatik-aktiv-Ubungsgrammatik-eingelegter-Hor-CD/dp/306023972X/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3613OIZG27001&keywords=grammatik+aktiv+a1+b1&qid=1697622197&sprefix=grammatik%2Caps%2C98&sr=8-5
On Amazon, it says it's currently unavailable. But according to Amazon they say there's a newer version from 2023 here: www.amazon.co.uk/Grammatik-aktiv-A1-B1-C3-9Cbungsgrammatik-PagePlayer-App-dp-3061229647/dp/3061229647/ref=dp_ob_image_bk
It looks as if the B1+ and B2-C1 levels are still available though!
Which level is German grammar drill suitable for?
It goes from beginners to intermediate I believe! :)
How are ya, alpinestudies. it is a particularly beautiful video. thank. :)
Thank you!
What is all those a1 b1 or c1 levels in language learning I've never understood
Google 'CEFR language levels' and hopefully that will help! :)
What you recommend for someone A2, same books prior levels?
I'd say so yes! There are probably loads of different books on Amazon. I personally didn't get on very well with the Aspekte Neu books, but if you think they're good and suit you then just use whatever is best for you! 😊
Hello Alice
Thank you. Please show the books longer to write down title, author, esp ISBN number to help buy online. Please show previous ones too for Beginners. High regards.
I'll remember that for next time, thanks! You could try pausing the video so you've got enough time to write the name down. I think they might all be available on Amazon! Unfortunately I don't have any of the books with me anymore as I've just moved countries again (I either gave them to a second hand shop in Germany or they're in a box waiting to be shipped to me here in the UK) so I don't have any info on the ISBN numbers sorry!
please can you make a video for the lower level books also??
Sadly I don't have any lower level books because they're all in the UK (I moved abroad and didn't need them). :( The German Verb Drills and German Grammar Drills start off at a beginners level though, if that helps! :)
@@alice-elizabeth okay thanks for replying
The best book that I started with and still use as a resource is German Demystified. Others on youtube have said the same thing.
If you don’t mind, can I ask which level of German are you on?
B2! I passed the B2 exam in 2019. :) But my understanding of grammar isn't very good so I'd say grammar is more like A2/B1 level.
@@alice-elizabeth B2? wow! That’s so amazing! 💫Congratulations 💫
Im doing A1 and plan to finish B2 exam by next year do that I can apply to German Universities😅 wish me luck🙏
Ahh good luck!! I hope you get into university in Germany! 😍
Wow. We'll Make It! Hopefully you can join us! :D
Those books look pretty new : ( )
indeed, and since she didn't even speak one word in Germany, I don't think she have studied/learned any German.
It is just to make money from Amazon/affiliate
@@LazyStorywhy so cynical?
Könnte ich Deutsch ohne Lehrer/in lernen?
Ja das ist möglich! There are a lot of people who self study languages, like on Twitter and Instagram.
Please I'm need book for germane A1-A2
The links to each book can be found in the description or the pinned comment in the comments section. 😊
@@alice-elizabeth thank you sister
@@alice-elizabeth have you sam book for germane A1-A2 in PDF
Ok Amazon
Yes Nice boch
Is she from the UK?
I am, yes! 😊
@@alice-elizabeth haha i see.. i notice that from your accent,, i love it
Do you think it is possible to learn German A1-B2 self study without any tutor nor teacher; just with books and videos?
@@achmadiid8644 There are lots of people on Instagram who self study at that level and they seem to manage, so I imagine it would be fine! Especially at A1 level, because you can test out the language to see if it's right for you before paying lots of money for lessons. There are apps like Duolingo which is free.
@@alice-elizabeth thank you miss,, by the way i am from Indonesia and nice to meet you
🤣 I can’t choose what ads anybody sees unfortunately. Sorry! 🙈
@@alice-elizabeth yeah I know that I'm just venting about TH-cam
Does anyone wants to give their books away ?
Amazon isn't available in Africa, and I have no other way to but them tbh
If u find a free pdf send it here plz 😅😅😂😂
