Lol whenever he tapped with his hammer or hands in the fast motion I thought it looked and sounded hilarious. But a great video. I was wondering what you were doing with some of those smaller ones until I realized you were using them as nailers. Ive done construction for about 14 years. And about 2 years building houses. But we sub out the framing and drywall so I don't do it often and don't really know how. I've got a few remodels I've got to do framing in with some weird layouts so I'm just watching TH-cam to learn some of the best techniques, cause I can't really wing it this time look. So thank you for this!

The door header should be resting on jack/trimmer studs to carry the weight of the header and doors to the floor without relying only on nails, which loosen over time.
Carry the weight... of what? 10-20 lbs Sheetrock?

@@FixitAll Apparently you've never had kids? They hang on doors, crash into them, etc. Or perhaps you have never had tenants. They are worse than kids. Anyway, it's code in most places, and code was developed for safety. Perhaps in your application you don't feel you need to build to code, but think in terms of the life of the home. Future owner may want to hang heavy doors. Many closet doors do hang from a track on the header, and the only thing on the bottom are guides to keep doors from swinging in and out. Also without a trimmer/jack weight-carrying stud, you will be more likely to have drywall cracks at the top if the nails loosen - and nails do loosen - we've all seen nail pops in drywall in homes that were built before drywall screws became the standard for attaching drywall..Bottom line, if you build something, build it for the long term. That's what I'm trying to say.
