This game has the coolest costumes of the series, the stages are impeccable, and the slick 2000s atmosphere is just perfect. I'll never get over how underrated its design is.

Changing his voice actor in the other games was/is a sin, he has 0 of that original intimidation factor compared the T4.

I love the win poses for Bryan, Kazuya, Heihachi, Hwoarang, and Christie. Especially Bryan's face punch, Kazuya's "Pathetic.", Christie's "Hey, did you hurt yourself?" and "Good night!", and Hwoarang's win poses where he sits on his fallen enemy.

I miss Jin´s winning animations in this game and in Tekken 5, when they showed he was a reluctant, but determined fighter who merely wanted to fight against his fate. He simply practises one of his katas, or even states he´s sorry for winning (with a saddened look, to boot).
In the last two entries, when he became the king of all nihilists, now all he does is mocks his opponents. I´m aware his story arc would unevitably lead him to become as such, but it feels like he´s shed every single shred of idealism he once had. Hope he cheers up a little when Tekken 8 is released, for fuck´s sake.
Not to mention, the gloves with the Kazama crest are waaaaaay cooler looking than the ones with the bolts.

Tekken 4 and 5 are by far my favourite Tekken games of the Franchise. Especially Tekken 4 is sourly the most unique and underrated (mostly because of the choices that hindered the competitive scene) but it is my favorite Tekken to date, because of the very seriousness Vibes of the Story aspects perspective. The seriousness atmosphere of Tekken 4 it's on another level in my opinion. The soundtrack is what gets me the most next to the game's atmosphere. With soundtracks like: Fetus(Prologue), Authentic Sky, Unihabited(Mall Area) Didgerhythm(Jungle Area) Touch and Go(Airport Area) and Kitsch(Beach Area) and The Inner Shrine(Hon-Maru Temple) and others soundtracks, For me Tekken 4 remains even in these days the most Unique Tekken game of the series.☯️
same, and i feel that recent tekken games are treated more like a joke. characters like lucky Chloe and Josie rizal for example, made the game head towards such a childish direction. also when they made Julia a cringey livestreamer, it seemed so out of place. maybe they're trying to add in a lighthearted aspect towards tekken, but i miss the seriousness and badassery of tekken, namely in tekken 5. new tekken games have an embarrassing drop of quality overall. t5 will always be my fav game - nothing will ever beat t5
I love Xiaoyu! this game is great because it's darker than usual ☺ it's sad that they didn't bring Xiaoyu's outfit from this game , they were nice ㅠㅠㅠ
