This style of teaching is exactly what I was looking for!! I'm a complete beginner and I can follow this easily. Now it's up to me to practice and get used to contorting my fingers. Thank you.
Completely amazing lesson. AC/DC has some of the best guitar sounds on the planet. It's mostly simple stuff but executed flawlessly with lots of attention to the details that YOU provide. You nail all of the subtleties that others miss. Thanks!
Just got this in my recommended list after searching for a tutorial with the outro part in it for soo long! :D This is amazing, and the classy AC/DC sound is spot-on!! Thank you! Can't believe this was uploaded in freakin' 2011 :D
This is a great lesson! I'm really glad you took the time to tab it out, repeat the sections AND you showed the SOLO, which hardly anyone does. Thanks!
Wow, this is superhuman...ly accurate! The tone, the feel, even the pick slidey and the buzz of the fretboard at the end is spot on. It's actually kinda spooky!
André, a lot of people should be greatful for you taking the time and effort to produce these superb lessons! The packaging - and content - are in the top tier across TH-cam without a shadow of a doubt. So, on behalf of all those people including myself - THANKS MATE!! I hope you keep them coming :-D Cheers, Jonas
@jzmacfish Thanks so much my friend :) Well... I did this again because I though the song deserved a better video. After all, it's an all time classic (also, I managed to find a great tone, so I really wanted to do it again xD) You are welcome man. I really appreciate it all! Cheers!
thanks so much for the lesson.I really appreciate the time and effort youve put into this and all you're other posts. thanks again!!!!! I found this a great help learning to play afew of my favourite songs.
ahmm... what else is there to say but.... truly bloodly smashingly wickedly superbly fantastically brilliant. Nothing short of excellent perfection... even that is understated, mate!! Good show!!! hope to get there one of these day... until then, I shall, practise practise practise, my ass off.
Great lesson man! The finger position for the end of the first main solo has always eluded me as well as the closing riffs Angus does (I always just kinda faked it...lol) but it makes more sense now. Your lesson is very clear and down to earth brother! Thanks!
settings are, treble 9 bass 6 middle 8 volume 7 gain 8, i dont know if this set up is what this guy is using but thats the set up explained in an acdc book i have, oh and most importantly, NO DISTORTION
@Solidusangus @Solidusangus I actually use the "Control Room" instead of the mics and cabs. Dyn57 all the way up and Con67 on half. I used a Skreamer and a compresor for the lead and the center rhythm (warmer) part too.
This has got to be the best tutorial for this song EVER... very indepth.. great job, thanks for posting. and as far as the 15 dislikes (ATM) I am guessing those are the people that are the ones that are standing outside of each AC/DC concert telling us we are going to Hell just for watching them.. I had a lady tell me that in San Jose in 2000 that I was going to Hell for attending, I said yeah, I am going alright, but it may be for killing that last bible freak that said that to me :D
"AC/DC is just really what rock is all about. It's full-on and it's hard. You hear AC/DC and definately things are moving. Your feet are moving. You're tapping your feet. It's really good, solid rock'n'roll and always has been." - Jimmy Page I can't think of a better way to put it.
@RockR2DC Hey :D Thanks a lot! Malcolm is my hero too. Ah... well... that xD I actually didn't notice it at first. I recorded the first take and put it over the original track and just then I ended up hearing it. So, I had to record it again (there were a few other problems too). :P Cheers!

perfect lesson man. Pls keep on publishing these kind of good stuff :)
AH, NICE VIDEO, good display, who says it is hard, must not know how to play, very well done, one of the easier AC/DC tunes! will play at the next open jam in my area!
Do you got a video of hells bells? Im a beginner guitarist, and I wanna learn that as my first song! Then all the AC/DC songs! I love Angus and Malcolm (rock in peace Malcolm! You will never be forgotten!). Stevie? You gotta have some pretty big balls to permanently replace a guy such as Malcolm! I give you my fullest respect! And Angus? I love you so please don’t stop for a while. And I hope you and Brian get back together as bandmates.
André, ok, that's by far the best lesson you've ever done but... why the HELL did you make this one again ? The other one was really good too ! You did great in both, but I don't understand you... If anyone said the other one was crap, just forget him ! I think we all have to thank you for making lessons( even if you sometimes make a little mistake, but I rarely see any...) Really, everyone plays the song how he like to play it I guess, and the guys who comment you make mistakes, holy shit
@jzmacfish what about them ??? If they can do better they should do the lesson For me all your lessons are "perferct" ( even If I said that one ist the best lol, I know, I'm strange these last days ) You give us all a flawless rhythm, and the solo, nobody can play it like Angus, but you give us all the chance to find out where to play it on the fretboard and you show us how YOU play it. So, just wanted to say that, and say, thanks André, thanks a lot again Write to you soon mate ;) Chris
Updated solo tutorial video with revised, more accurate parts

The guitar tone is perfect.
+Vinny D He is using a Marshall JMP 2203 and a Schaffer Replica.
@Joe Mamma It's the schaffer replica!
This style of teaching is exactly what I was looking for!! I'm a complete beginner and I can follow this easily.

Thank you.
Thanks! Keep rocking!
Completely amazing lesson. AC/DC has some of the best guitar sounds on the planet. It's mostly simple stuff but executed flawlessly with lots of attention to the details that YOU provide. You nail all of the subtleties that others miss. Thanks!
Literally the only lession that mentions what chords are played behind the solo... thank you!
Well, it's really just the chorus. I do have to make an update because I realized they don't play the G between the A and D chords. Thank you!
Just got this in my recommended list after searching for a tutorial with the outro part in it for soo long! :D This is amazing, and the classy AC/DC sound is spot-on!! Thank you! Can't believe this was uploaded in freakin' 2011 :D

Wow, this is superhuman...ly accurate! The tone, the feel, even the pick slidey and the buzz of the fretboard at the end is spot on. It's actually kinda spooky!

use a bit of crunch sound ( 1/3 of distortion ) , use 1/4 bass, 1/2 of middle and full treble (and obviously has a good amp)
Great lesson man! The finger position for the end of the first main solo has always eluded me as well as the closing riffs Angus does (I always just kinda faked it...lol) but it makes more sense now. Your lesson is very clear and down to earth brother! Thanks!
