Do you have suggestions of models from other brands? We can't get Milwaukee where I live, but we have others such as Makita, Dewalt, Bosch, etc

Here people bolt mostly while leading, so the drill will be used with only one hand

Yes, any of those brands will be great. And any of their compact brushless SDS drills would suit bolting on lead. Eg Makita DHR 171, 182 or 183 are all excellent. Also the dewalt dch172. Bosch doesn't do a really small one like those but the gbh-18V 21 is good, if a little bigger than the others I mentioned

@@MountainMullet got the dhr 171! Thanks!

Congrats! She's really nice and perfect for overhead drilling in eg limestone. It's designed to be used one handed and revs quite slowly so it's easier to control

@@MountainMullet yup I watched your video comparing all makitas in your other channel and that's what made me buy it! Also my local mentor really recommended it :)

So many options to pick from..what is your recommendation for something in the middle good for granite hard rocks, not high end expensive and not anything cheap which wouldn't last

Depending on where you are and what your budget is, a Ryobi, Bosch Green or Craftsman/Stanley are good mid range options

@@MountainMullet will be getting it from Europe either UK or Germany..
Have been looking at your Makita reviews those drills look promising but don't know how expensive they are in Europe..what do you say is DHR 172 or 173 mid range? Budget is around 700usd can push it up for something worthy
      Was using Bosch gbh36 before

Worth noting that adaptors are a poor choice for high vibration tools like impacts and these hammer units. Use native batteries on your rotary hammer drills, people.

It's actually not the footage just the FA telling the story though. Lemme know if I forgot to add anything like that after I migrated these vids over to this new channel mate!

Australia. If so I think there's a store that still has stock, otherwise keep an eye on cash converters
