If Morgan can look like that and is healty - there is no point of learning tracking calories. Is just gonna give her more problemes with food. Less sugar and more greens is what she should keep in mind.

@@bm2276 i definitely agree, I tried to track but it gave me a headache and discouraged me a lot of the time if i didnt meet the requirement, now i am just eating intuitively and being more mindful of what i eat by making sure i get all my vitamins and staying active. there is no point in tracking unless youre into the art of bodybuilding, if your goal is just to be healthy then tracking is unnecessary. also if you have issues with overeating, i guess tracking can be a start until you can become mindful but shouldnt be something you do for life. i think that its kind of obsessive if you are tracking but not into bodybuilding or have an issue with over eating.

I definitely second how many calories each person needs being a lot of trial and error. For instance, I’m 5’4, 128lbs, and about 17% body fat. Calculators recommend my maintenance being about 2,200 with my bulk being at 2,500. Through trial and error, I’ve realized I maintain at 2,500 and bulk at around 2,900. To say the least, I went through a lot of experimenting before finding that out😂 I’m also a gymnastics coach and train a lot of heavy lifting, so I have a super active day to day routine as well.

FYI they do have carton egg whites in Aus! I get them from Coles. We use them at work for cocktails with egg whites rather than wasting time cracking eggs 😊

Do your biggest loser video! I work as a exercise physiologist at a cardiac rehab and my co workers and I would watch it during lunch time every week. It was such an inspiration and you gave me a lot of ideas of different ways of training with my patients. Cardiac Rehab in El Paso, TX would appreciate it!

Is the maths wrong? Protein - 224g x 4cal/g = 896 Carbs - 279g x 4cal/g = 1116 Fat - 81 x 9cal/g = 729 Total = 2741? Does the app not count carbs from fibre which would take it down to 2573.

I'm asking because I'm trying in a caloric deficit right now but there's a point where you can't continue doing that. Well if he has an average male metabolism and only needs to consume the average of 2500 calories a day for a male then eating around 2600 calories will put him into a calorific surplus, it does seem like quite a small amount but he most likely has an average calorific need, so he'll still gain weight due to the calorific surplus.
@@joegreen6026 His BMR alone would be over 2000 calories at 220lb... if he's also training, he should need at least 3000 calories per day to maintain if not more... he's an athlete, not an average male office worker.

I hate to contradict, but I want to say steve was wrong at 2:05. You can calculate macros from your calories. It’s about deciding how many you want to eat, and then multiplying by the percentage of each Macro you want, and dividing that by the number of calories per gram.. thoughts anyone?

Don’t eat when you’re bored and usually it doesn’t hurt to wait an hour or so when you start getting hungry to eat
