I'm using them for frame house construction projects. Every stud is a Dynamic Component and have assigned attributes so I could Generate Report and see quantities in report. Every sheeting plate is a DC, Windows, brackets, screws. By the way I love to see you bringing DC's for wider public. There is a lot to cover: Animation, Rotation, visibility, Attributes in Generate Report, and If you could cover a work around for changing value in attribute for multiple Dynamic Components objects. They call it "wrapping DC" Thank you for your hard work. I wish one day Trimble will recognise that DC's are great tool and deserves to be upgraded and improved. Cheers
Couldn't you set the spacing to "=12". That way the spacing of the rungs is always 12 regardless of ladder length? I'd also eliminate all the grips except the top center to easily pick it regardless of zoom level.
Hi everyone! Let me know what you're using dynamic components for in the comments below! :)

Hi Justin, if you switch ? Put the formula in the copies and fix the spacing with a value.

It seems that it will be quicker to re model something than learning all this.
No, if you are doing this mamy times...
