On the afternoon of October 3rd, at 4 PM, Fubao was first in the indoor enclosure where the keeper gave her a snack, likely apple and wowotou. Afterward, Fubao came out to eat a carrot and bamboo shoots. She finished her snack in about half an hour and then played with the red ball toys. Both Keeper Xu and the "hat-wearing" keeper were on duty today.

Our precious FuBao, what a good girl, eating diligently! Hope your appetite keeps getting better. A big thank you to the keepers for their kind care. You might've climbed the tree if there had been no protective film back in place, but it's understandable that your safety comes first. I believe the staff and the management team have begun to understand that you love climbing trees very much. Understanding is the first step for meaningful action, so our good and smart FuBao, be positive and hopeful, our wish is the same as yours. Happy to see you sniffing and 'experimenting with' the balls. Sleep tight, our lovely baby, thank you and love you always!

Most of the time, the environment on-site is not in a perfectly quiet, ideal state. Additionally, the area where Fu Bao eats is actually some distance away from the viewing area, and the footage is zoomed in. So, even in a quiet setting, only louder noises, such as the sound of breaking bamboo, can be heard clearly. Other typical eating sounds are generally hard to pick up, unless recording equipment is used.
