I love the idea of Bub's donating drinks to the cause and wanting to be a part of it despite him taking a financial hit -- also them asking him to be a part of the plan took longer than just ordering drinks. they probably bought the bags from him

And everything was okay! And now I’m in my early fifties, and there’s still Homestar Runner. Man, high school sucked.

Oh my goodness... I just subscribed yesterday on "Todayborday is labor day"... I used to watch all of these on the website in the early and mid 2000s... This made me happy and sad at the same time... happy because of how AWESOME this is, and sad because it came from a much happier and simpler time

I just realized the drink colors correspond to the four guys Homestar was getting the drinks for. Two reds for him and Strong Bad, Orange for the Cheat, and Blue for Strong Mad
This may have been the first HR cartoon I ever saw- I was little so I'm not quite sure but it was definitely ONE of the earliest so it is one of the most ingrained in my head, I'm delighted to see this classic uploaded here :D
This definitely feels like an earlier one. Homestar seems a bit more... intelligent? I feel like later homestar wouldn't have suspected anything even after seeing bubs with his drink. He'd also probably turn out to be more interested in the bag itself than the thing inside of it or trying to fit in. It's always interesting to see how much characters subtly change over time.
If you had told me this came out 15 years ago I'd absolutely believe you. Somehow this has managed to consistently be the best web cartoon through my childhood, through high school, college, and well into me being a boring old adult. It's good to see some things never change

Ive always loved how homestar moves around when he orders the "2 red, a blue, and an orange" drinks.
That "checkitout" line could really be a good challenge to see how long you can keep going until you're exhausted
