- When We Were Young Festival finally took place in Las Vegas on October 22 and was full of amazing moments. From Paramore's first performance of 'All I Wanted' to My Chemical Romance appearing in old man makeup and 'Revenge' era outfits, we look back at 10 of the biggest highlights from the day. Pierce The Veil's Vic Fuentes tells us about performing 'King For A Day' with Kellin Quinn in the iconic suits from the music video, The Maine talk playing 'Loved You A Little' with Taking Back Sunday's Adam Lazarra and Charlotte Sands and State Champs tell us about performing live with Neck Deep's Ben Barlow. No its was absolutely insane. I was their on the first Sunday show. So many people, understaffed merch stands. It was so hard to walk between the stages.
A Day to Remember-crowd energy was INSANE. Pierce the Veil for dark horse pick-absolutely killed their set and made a ton of new fans
I am still thinking about Pierce the Veil’s set
I've only seen them once or twice, MANY years ago but they were crazy good when I did. I'd love to see them again sometime in the future
YESSSS A Day to Remember crowd energy was so good, Bring me the Horizon also brought the show back from the unfortunate bright eyes debaucle

MCR making fun of the whole event wearing their outfits from their 2nd album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge with make up to make them look like pensioners and acting senile as well as Gerard forcing a lower pitch voice like he used to.
Mikey being a vampire, fake money with called vampire money (in reference to the song) and having merch that just says merch on it.
That is the best imo.
Except All American Rejects did it FIRST in their set before MCR came out. So doubt it.
And their crew dressing like nurses and walking them to the stage!
I still can't believe this festival was even real lol. When I first saw the poster I thought it was a little too much wishful thinking.

I been a huge PTV fan since they came out in 07 till now and im soooooooooooooo happy for how far they came and now they married and vic about to be a father! so glad i grew up with them wish i was there to see them i watched a live of the concert and i can say vic and kellin still killed that shit love those boys

When Avril came out I was overwhelmed with Joy- never have I ever imagine seeing my fav artist all together one after the other- great night. Can’t wait for next year! 30stm?!!!!! Please I’m so pumped!

Yeah… I had to buy 2 more tickets at resell price for Sunday. But we made it and it was epic!!
Thank you thank you thank you I said that before even reading your comments. I didn't even see the video before I stated that. And for the gentleman below I'd like to know how much those resale tickets cost, so glad I saw all these bands when I was young for dirt cheap so I wouldn't have to pay to see them all play 20 minute sets now and for something like a cancellation due to weather to take that away.

@@floydsemlow8253 I was going to do the same but had to leave Sunday afternoon. So wasn’t worth it for me. Tickets on Sunday were at 150 for general admission. A lady was selling 4 of them at that price but didn’t nab since I had to take off. 😭

@@TheJoshening they’ve been filming bits of the tour and fans in Europe were interviewed by the camera crew at one stage and they weren’t told what the footage would be used for, but it’s looking like maybe a documentary about the return.
Everyone I talked to that went said this festival was so well executed. I'm so pissed I didnt go.
BMTH & ADTM just blew my mind.
They are insanely good at on putting an excellent show and the energy was electrifying.
Also, no hard feeling against my fellow emo clan but Bright Eyes shouldn't be starting after Avril Lavigne lol.

When I first saw the poster on Facebook I thought I was tripping, and this was a joke or photoshop, cause it was too good to be true... but it was!! All my friends were like, "is this a joke?" Or, "is this real??" This was magic, 20 something me got to come out and play one more time, lol!
When Story of the year performed Until the day I die, I had goosebumps.

Had day 1 tickets too with my group of friends, one of my friends was crying off and on all day, fucking sucked, they could have done more for the day 1 people who got fucked up the ass, no lube, no condom
I think the real dick move is they just refunded you rather than give you a option to go day 2 or like next year event.

Number 1 Saturday being canceled, Ice Nine Kills had the best performance by far. Paramore is overrated as fuck, 3rd time I've seen them and they always disappoint.
