Also, your Day Counter overlay covers over your 1st hotbar slot and the lower health hearts- you might want to shift that up and over a little so it's not covering anything.
You’re thinking of coal, iron has two different generation layers, one that’s similar to coal, but actual is more prevalent inside of mountains instead of on top, and also increases in quantity in deeper depths towards deep slate.
Someone else may have mentioned, and maybe it's addressed later in the vid, but you can plant oak saplings directly next to each other and they'll grow. You could do a 100x100 square of them if you wanted. Might help you save some space in constricted worlds like this in the future

I think that the house looks good but it could use some more shape instead of just being a rectangle other than that it looks really good. I would love to see a part 2 to this I've loved this video so far (if you do a part 2 you should 100% make a automatic bonemeal farm they work very well and they use seaweed so it would be very efficient for this challenge). I remember I had a minecraf bedrock edition world that was on an island, it had a little pond, I made my base underground to have more space on top and the place that I was making into my bedroom, the wall in front of the bed was going into the pond, I made the whole wall into glass wall, fixed up the pond to make it look more natural, added sea cucumbers and tropical fish and the room looked so good. 1st Just for you to know Mobs can't spawn on slabs if they are bottom slabs 2nd Iron is more common higher levels instead of lower levels 3rd you can use Dried kelp block as fuel source it is kinda useful 4th you can eat dried kelp, not the best food source but will help you at the beginning 5th your wheat is growing very slow because of the lack of light source and you are spending your time on mine's which is out of the growth chunk of wheats 6th you can increase your chances on mob spawn rates with lightening up the caves below Hope this little tips help you on you next series keep up the good work!

Aw I thought this was a true deserted island experience where you would have to rely on traders, shipwrecks and zombie villagers to advance. I play with a data pack for 1.20 that has all the underground stuff but there are no overworld land biomes only ocean ones with an occasional tiny deserted island, its a pretty fun challenge. Anyway still a cool video, thanks.

The real trick is FINDING a desert island tbh. That new terrain generation is so odd! I set a world to deep lukewarm ocean and it was basically plains but with no passive mobs and no villages. Really odd stuff haha. Edit: ahh yes the netherite template that only spawns in one certain location SOMETIMES. I hate this new addition tbh.
I did this challenge a while ago. You need to use a program that'll show you what generates with what seeds (I can't remember the program that I used, this was like a year ago, but I think it was a website), find one that starts you in the biggest stretch of water possible, and then create a world using large biomes. There will be land SOMEWHERE, but when I did it, I was ranging all over the place and never saw it. Alternately, I think there are mods you can download specifically for this. When I did the challenge, I actually started in the middle of the ocean. I found a ship, stripped it for wood and made a boat with that, and then just started making a wooden raft.
I know on 1.18 I think it there is a whole data pack for an ocean only world. Zero islands! It's really awesome but of course doesn't have any of the stuff from newer updates. AFAIK even using data packs with the new 1.20 terrain generation you can't get rid of land entirely. At best you get to a bit smaller islands but that's it. I'm hopefully that can get sorted out eventually.@@purplecat4977
Hello. What a good Mob Farm. I seen a chicken in there. You can get them & zombie villagers in it, Hope you get 2 from it. LOL You should of let the last kelp stay on the bottom in the water to regrow. Not just creepers Add the baby zombies to that list of the bad mobs. You house id nice. For me it is to pink.

kelp can also be used as a food source when dried and a fuel source when the dried bits are crafted into a block.

heres a little tip if you want more seeds putthe bonemeal on the ground and it will grow grass and then you can chop it and get seeds
