Your channel just gets better and better, but the coverage of the BDSO and the Eddie are so special. You capture how special these events are to you and all the surf community of the North Shore. You get such a close up view of all the best surfers and the camaraderie is awesome. With the amazing filming and editing I can’t get enough of this. Keep up the amazing work and for all the full-on charging this winter so far. And there’s you and Nathan’s podcast!!!
Agreed. I think over Covid I got too much over curated surf content and always dogged on Koa. But I need to eat crow bc Koa is real deal and himself. Hope to meet him one day. Probably never been to Honolii on big island though 🤙🏼
Maybe it’s just me but this ability to not only film yourself, document your day leading up to the event and upload it in real time, and then kind of interview yourself for both pre and post heats of events provides such an insane perspective that we never got to see before. Everyone who has their own channel is doing their part to show to the world how great the surfing community is. Kinda torn between it helping grow it again to where competitors are making huge amounts of cash but also fully aware of the evils that come with too much corporate involvement..
I like the Wipeouts and struggle to get back out... surfers and ppl who surf know that part of the game.. And IMO I appreciate seeing the struggle getting out to the line-up

Dear Koa, your choice to prioritise including the experience of the ceremony is (for me) the most profound example of the heart of your brand “This is Living”. Thank you for sharing this sacred and rare view into your community and the history of the sports origins. Much aloha to you.
Another sick vlog! Love seeing behind the scenes of all the contests. The distance you drop on some of those waves and actually land on your board is insane 🤯
Those sprays on your boards are so dope. I appreciate your vlog. It gives a real life experience of the competitions instead of some unrealistic highlight real. I think you talking through it really ties it all together.
Thank you always, Koa, for giving us sweet access to the life that is out of reach for us in the UK. You and Nate are so much fun to watch, so insightful, and always inspirational. Your videos are getting me, and others like me through a long winter over here. Every day I check you and Nate's channel for new content. Keep it coming! Deep gratitude and respect from the grey miserable island 😌🙌🤙 PS Love the podcast and even though I know when it drops, I keep checking a for a new one a few days before like a chump 🙈😅
I have no clue why you were recommended in my feed because I have never been a fan of surfing or followed it. But I have been to Hawaii 3 times and my favorite spot was North Shore which is what caught my eye, had no clue how legendary of a beach I was on and I must admit I'm dying to learn to surf now! Legendary drone shots and videos of the beautiful beaches. Been binge watching these videos, keep up the amazing content brother. You're def living ! 👍🙏🤙
Do you do water sports of any kind? Do you understand the ocean?? If not..north shore Oahu is not the place to start. Obviously you're a beginner. Waikiki is a safe place to learn...it was the queen's private surf spot. Also ...the cove in Maui is fun and safe...go to MWR for great equipment and local guy instructors. Tommy..the owner was on cover of Surfer Magazine many years ago...but they are the real deal. I love both spots...Mahalo 🤙
This is the best video I have seen you drop. Really felt like I was experiencing the events culture, excitement, and understanding the differences in the rule changes back at Pipe. If it matters, I gave you a 10 for the nose blow. TILvn!😂
Thank you for these videos! they are visually beautiful, the surfing is awesome and it is exciting to be down on the beach vicariously, getting to see everyone! (your first heat actually looked amazing to me)
Damn the look of that swell reminded me of my old bodyboarding magazine's from late 90s/early 2000s. Haven't seen it look so beautiful like that in a while certain color and feel to the atmosphere too. Epic Surf edit.

The ritual works! Wave gods were summoned 🌊🙌🙌
The water is God, try living 5days without it! It gives life to ALL. There can be no life without it. All water is holy!😊
Id love to see that in person. This is great to witness.
