Thanks for the video! I also had difficulties dialing in this amp, for the same reasons you mentioned. Love the way you've tweaked it! Quick question? What are the pickups in your guitar? They sound amazing. Thanks for your contribution to the Fractal Community!

Thank YOU! I agree, these pickups are amazing! The guitar is an Xotic XSC-2, and its Xotic's own pickups, which I believe they also sell separately. Xotic RAW or something like that?

Hi, great video just a suggestion you can just use the looper to tweak the amp or cap. Have a blessed day.

Great video. I agree, the names could be better and more descriptive. Thanks for saving us all that detective work. I have been going through hundreds of amps, one at a time and writing down the numbers I like.
If I want to play two guitars through my FM9- is there an easy way to do this- like just plugging them in, or do I have to once again, play around with blocks. Would I have to do that for every single preset? If so, that would be tedious. Can I do it globally? Same with Looper. At least for that I have an external pedal.
I ask because I might be going on vacation and would like to have others randomly play a long on some simple tunes- likely using headphones most of the time via my interface. I love my FM9 but do hope they update the UI and make it more plug and play. I should not have to program this thing to do everything- it should just work like my Ampero II did. That little thing was very plug and play- just not nearly as good. Much cheaper at $400 but less value overall IMO.
    Thanks.

I made a video on this! th-cam.com/video/VHPznh27c4A/w-d-xo.html Let me know if that is helpful! I don't know of a plug-n-play way to set that up globally. You'd need to setup the preset for two separate signal chains and inputs. There's no way to like, run two presets at a time and assign one to the second in/out, which is seems like is the feature you would be after. You can definitely run two totally separate signal chains and jam with one unit though!

Good stuff, BS. What do you set the Fractal input gain in Setup to?

The manual says to set it as high as you can without clipping. It should not affect your tone, the level is normalized. Unless it clips, obv, so that’s the main function is to just make sure you do not clip.
