Crush's song is SO difficult and i have YET to hear someone fail at it.. theme park entertainment is NO JOKE, these performers have to do this show multiple time a day. Kudos to everyone.
Honestly after seeing the original show in person. This version feels super super cut down compared to the original. 1. I love the look of the screen background sets and how they flow. 2. The original gave the characters more meaning when they came on stage for the first time. It used to be a cool surprise when the sharks came out and it gave you chills. 3. What happen to Nigel?!? He was the biggest and most impressive part other than crush the turtle! 4. It feels way to rushed. I understand they wanted to revamp the show but watching this whole thing through. I had to replay certain parts, because i was baffled they just skipped past so many cool things. 5. It looks like the casting was cut down for ensemble parts like the crab that used to pinch marlins tail fin. 6. The ending used to make me cry when i saw it in person or on screen. The new ending doesn’t give me even a tear anymore. Probably due to the scene being rushed. 7. Any reason why they cut dory and marlin being able to fly? I can totally understand stage safety if that’s why! i’ve worked on flying productions and it’s pretty scary. 8. I think some songs might be sped up a bit? Or are they just jumping that fast though scenes? 9. I’m glad they kept the casting basically the same for main roles that’s always a good feeling! 10. The cast and crew did an amazing job performing the new show! They all sound and perform fantastically! Running around puppeteering and singing is never easy especially 6 times a day everyday. Congratulations to the performers cast and crew on the revamp it looks fantastic and sounds beautiful!
I’m so disappointed that they changed this show. It used be much longer and just gave you chills in the theater with some of the songs. I almost cried thinking about the old one and how it carried so much nostalgia and love with people, and Disney just completely tore it apart and ruined it
Spectacular videography! It's a real shame the old show is closed. I'm actually working on trying to compile a proshot of the old show using various TH-cam recordings as footage.
I love the original so I may be biased (tho some of the comments seem to come to the same conclusion), this version just doesn't resonate the same. It feels much more low energy, almost like the performers weren't happy to be there. Moments that were impactful and impressive don't quite hit that mark anymore. The transitions before helped scene changes feel like they worked in the story are much more stilted trying to change them to narrators, and this change along with the rushed feeling also diminishes many of the emotional beats in the story. I also understand there may be COVID restrictions limiting cast size, but the smaller cast makes the ensemble numbers feel small as a result, and the bold sound equal to what you espect from a Disney production now feels like a sad school musical where only half the cast knows what they're doing. The highlight is still Go With The Flow as that's the only scene where despite the stage not being as full of like anymore, the few performers there are actually seem like they're putting in 100% for the first time in the show, plus Crush is always a stunning puppet to see onstage.
I watched this show the first month it came out and some of the original prop elements that made this show special are gone . Still a good show either way but bring nigel back.

i agree with half of these comments saying the original is so much better. even small things like the bubbles and i especially miss the scene where it actually showed they were in a tank and the massive stork puppet. the original was 1000× better :/ x
I wish I filmed it but last year I was on the Indiana Jones ride and it kept stopping randomly. It stopped at the bug (cave) and spear parts. The last time it stopped was when Indiana Jones was supposed to save you from the boulder but the ride stopped and he was just holding onto the rope above our ride. It was funny being there for 2 minutes. I forgot to say that the boulder never showed up so that was interesting for me because it was my first time on the ride
Well I can remember when I went to Florida this year and we went on the finding Nemo ride a cart and then we have to went on it again because my sister wants to go out again and for some reason that the thing that says is Marlene that lantern thing stopped working and I forgot to bring my phone with me to record it
What the heck is this?! I thought Finding Nemo the musical was supposed to be reimagined with the original songs, of course, and new scenes and songs from Finding Dory... But it's really just a new screen, less story, less interaction, and less... magic. Whenever I saw the musical I cried with the ending song "Togheter we swim togheter" when Nemo goes to rescue Dory, it made me very nostalgic and they removed it! I do not see any improvement (although I appreciate that they are the same actors), they would have left the show as it was: IT WAS PERFECT.
Honestly this was garbage. I liked the original but not only that this would be amazing if they put the time and money into making the performance a dark performance. It woulda been way more impressive if the fishes and everything looked lifelike

Usually finding nemo shows at WDW are about an hour, and this is less than half.
I miss the old one so much with Nigel, the longer songs and a better set. This version is cute but none will compare to the original
I miss the original show. They cut out way to much with this remake. Less actors, no jelly scene, no Nigile, no areal scenes.
Even Bubbles 🫧 is taking a indefinite break from the show! So sad 😞!
