Installation of Kenneth Snelson's "Needle Tower"

How many people does it take to raise a "Needle Tower"?
The artwork by Kenneth Snelson was recently in need of conservation work. After work was completed, Exhibits staff, art handlers and building maintenance staff up-righted the towering sculpture back into its place on the Hirshhorn Plaza.
And if you were counting, it was 15 people.
