What is treatment of bonus issue in books of bonus share receipient

As per AS 13 - Accounting for Investments
We will not pass any entry
because as an existing shareholder we have got bonus shares without paying anything
So our cost of those existing shares will be same
But in investment a/c we will record an increase in the quantity of shares in quantity column but amount column will be nil.
