With decks like these what you gotta keep in mind is that you can forcefully put energy in the discard pile abusing high retreat costs of your pokemon. During the first game where you were a couple energy short of KO-ing the charizard, if you had replaced the dead heatran with the other benched heatran instead of going straight into the fish, then attached 4 energy on it while also ultra balled the two energy you already had in hand, the basculegion would have one shotted the bastard.
Wondered why so few people on limitless were playing palafin because it’s a pretty decent deck. Cooked up what I thought was a fire deck and played it twice. After not being able to play half the cards in my hand and the other half being palafin I now understand.
I cooked up a palafin with the greninja that searches whatever you want and dundunsparse. Runs pretty well but I’m only in ultra ball so there’s that
Been in arc for a couple months. It blows my mind that nobody has thought to play it with palkia and radiant greninja . Seems like the perfect partnership and you always have the option of moonlight shrunken from nowhere.
Been testing with max belt, choice belt, and Kieran to beat dragapult and lugia. Also with a single iron valiant to fix the dragapult math.
But can’t really get through a game before I can’t search anything because of the glitch. And arven usually stops working about 3 turns in.
Until the deck is fixed you wnt really see it being played
Day 93! So… dialga’s star chronos literally has text that says skip pokemon checkup. To no one’s surprise, live is bugged. On a lighter note, I love the thumbnail! The art coming out of the cards looks great!

i added a 1-1 line of Dialga, and thorton to swap heatran with Dialga V then evolve into Vstar in case there is a situation that need star chronos 🤣
Well yeah, but the whole point of the deck is to not be a dialga deck
in the first game, you could have rodded back 1 heatran before playing the research.

I said the same thing too abt the energy thing, extra steps paid devs just to make the putting of energy longer. This might have to do w pokemon going DEI. As always great vid sean!

Metang is actually the savior of the format
One of the problem when playing this kind of deck is enemy always target your basculegion and ignore the big attacker in the middle- late game, really miss energy recycler
Thats why you need to have one heatran build with energy so opponent can’t ignore it. If you keep a lonely heatran on bench they will likely snipe the basc because it will return the energy anyways.

Thorton what out? Thorton only works on basics and both basculegion and metang are stage 1
@@creeshus1001 you can thorton a heatran into a basculin and since the turns carry over to the new pokemon, evolve it straight into basculegion in the same turn.
Theres no scolipede deck in yt, i think is a quite fun deck to show off. I tried it with dudunsparce engine and brute bonet, what do you think about it?
For Star Chronos, doesn't it say "Skip Pokemon Checkup" after the move? I think PTCGL was wrong there for applying the burn, no?
what was your reasoning for 3 metangs vs 4? Just curious because im considering tweaking this list.

I played this deck and beat charizard ex. It was a crazy intense battle and I even lost 2 rods on the first research (I had to opponent had gotten a charizard). Yet somehow i still managed to win.
I just made the arcianine deck from your past video and might try this one next, looks so fun for single prize

So Metang Vs Magnezone, do people use the Metang because it means you don't have to play the rare candies you'd need for Magnezone?
It's much easier and quicker going from basic to stage 1, especially since cards like TM Evolution and Hyper Aroma (and some other freak picks like Salvatore) make it so you can have your Metangs set up by your second turn if the hand's right.
Between this and kingdra, which would you recommend?
Is there a possible replacement for the prime catcher? If so, I’d really like to know !

Dialga shouldn't have actually taken burn damage during star chronos, the attack says "Take another turn after this one. *(Skip Pokémon Checkup)*."

Just wanna note that you can use heavy baton with Heatran. 2 copies would be solid
Possibly, but I think more retreat options is more important just in case they try to trap a heatran in the active and you haven't recycled the energy with bascuilligeon.

@@aS__Spencer Baton would work in the very rare case your Metangs fail to get you energy and somehow don't have enough to attack.

@ForTheWinTCG this took time and is from my soul so I would highly appreciate you at least reading this comment (not bringing you to Jesus, not soliciting, I love your content) and keep in mind I’m ADHD and on the spectrum and I blow people away with my insight and how my brain works. and please do me (and you) a favor- I promise you this could catapult you far. And please finish this before you conclude any thoughts about what I’m saying… bro I just had this vision of you with a TON of subscribers and a steadily evolving shooting space and video/audio quality. Your videos were prime, but I noticed one major difference. Is it Sean or Shawn… not sure the spelling. But that guy never apologized for his flaws, his illnesses, the way he talked, goofy things he said, or his personality. And then I noticed something that showed me it wasn’t BS- Among the more modest and genuine channels I’m subscribed to with a million plus peeps, I see authentic, unapologetic, and truly unique TH-camrs with such one-of-a-kind personalities with all of their unusual mental states and characters with flaws that everybody loves because we all secretly wish we could be ourselves to the world and end up depressed, addicted, self-conscious, on that bandwagon identity mentality, whatever- because we can’t. And our heroes and the people we watch on TH-cam and TV and idolize are all authentically and unapologetically themselves. From what we know at least. Obviously many people worship the wrong celebrities but that’s only because they portray themselves and act to the public eye to where ignorant people are fooled into thinking they are authentically portraying themselves. With you, we’d know. And everybody else who happened across your video would know, too. Because we’ve watched since back when you apologized and felt you had to explain your ADHD to us any time you misplayed or said something random or went on a tangent. We know who you are. I just wanted to challenge you to intentionally be unapologetic about who you are. People will comment negative things inevitably but you’re held back if you base a fear of losing followers on adjusting to their complaints and explaining yourself. You are amazing man. I’ve based my entire journey around getting back into PTCG around your videos, irl and on Live. Each of the 20 something decks I have on Live were pasted from your videos. Three decks I’ve built with physical cards. There’s nothing wrong with you. You know who has the MOST negative comments? The smaller portion of truly human people at the TOP next to all the professional actors presenting as real people. Because people will always reject authenticity when their fear realizing they are portraying a facade to accommodate the ignorant people turns into anger and negativity projected outwards towards the source of authenticity that triggered them. We crave this trigger because we get a step closer to feeling free to be ourselves every time our facade is challenged by our heroes of media being themselves. Consider it bro. I am also ADHD and explain myself to everybody all the time and I can’t do anymore. I’m me, and if I’m always me without explaining or apologizing, I know anyone that’s around truly loves me as I am. Your base will explode. Everybody loves a cool, flawed, confident, comfortable character, especially when that character isn’t fictional. ❤
