Great video my brother. I'd just like to know real quick. I have no clearance between my fan blade and radiator I'm using e36 arms and e34 rubber mountings Whhat could i be doing wrong
There usually isn't any clearance for the viscous fan to sit, so what I did was a electric fan, then I used a fan controller to operate a relay that overrides the Aircon fan with the electric fan - one pushes, the other pulls. Car has no temperature issues sitting in traffic or hard driving. You can use a Peugeot 206 fan switch, but then you can use that switch to trigger a relay - 12v on the switch to pin 85, 86 to ground, 30 is a 12v, 87 to your Aircon fan and 87a to your electric fan between the radiator and motor. And then ground each fan to the chassis. That's how I did the relay wiring and it's been 100% reliable. Hope it helps 🙏🏽. For the mountings, I see quite a few people mix e34 and E36 mountings, but it makes the engine look more twisted. I just used the E36 mountings and it's dead level with the car. Got those my Master parts.
Mine is also about that yes, I used an M40 radiator and had to be careful with the inner electric fan placement, people have had no issues with just using the Aircon fan, but I had a whole lot of cooling issues when the car had an M40 engine in, so I was paranoid and rather went overkill.

Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it! How's the engine sitting, more to the front or the back?

@@CARJOURNEY thank you very much for that info, I'll get on to it tomorrow and will post an update here on my comment 🙏🏼 thanks once again
@@CARJOURNEY the engine is sitting more to the front
And at the back close to the firewall there is like 3cm of clearance between engine and wall

How much did it cost you
