You make the 3 strand twist look so easy. When I try to do it and end up doing a braid 😩 I will just have to practice more.

It's amazing how you can use three stands and it not turn into a braid..lol I still don't know how to do it sis. 😆😆

To do a three strand
1. grab the three you're about to twist with
2.if you're on left side of your head take the twist thats in your right hand and move it over one in left hand
-so the hair will go over your middle strand and left hand strand
3.then you have the middle strand that will now be in your right hand and have that one do the same thing (going over both the strands)
4.keep repeating (vice versa on opposite side of your head)

@@TiarreaB.Naturally of course no problem🙌🏻 and it's confusing at first but its easy to get the hang of and it defines curls way more and the three strand i believe also last longer if you wearing it as twist over the 2strand

I totally agree with you. That is why I had to create a seperate channel for family and lifestyle because people didn't want everything in one channel .

That product didn’t like my hair at all. I tried it several ways and I just didn’t like it.

I love this creme gel. I got great definition with no flakes or tackiness.
Your hair came out amazballs and🤷🏻♀️i think frizz would happen regardless but the stretched look made it definitely more flowy so yaaass flip that hair👏🏻👏🏻

I love the ease you have in detangling with a brush. I feel like I’m fighting demons lol! I’m also not very well coordinated so maybe that’s it.

Ms Janae, I have a suggestion. I got a sample of a curl creme and as soon as I felt the texture of it I knew I needed something thicker. I tried it and a few hour later my braid felt drrrrryyyyy. So I took some Shea butter and mixed into it and voila, that did it. I would recommend doing this before getting rid of it. TFS, love your energy, and please let us know what you ended up doing to your hair and this product.

@@Nae2Curly I will say it's best to soften n whip the Shea butter first, then fold in the curl creme (like we baking lol) . Test it using a small amount (maybe one tablespoon of each).

I only 3 strand twist now. I like using the mane choice it don't get much better than this and mousse with a little aunt Jackie's flax seed gel for extra hold and definition.

I don't really care for design essentials products on my hair so I get it. I tend to get residue or little balls on my hands as well and am not wowed by the results anyway. You look great though!

Just curious.. Is it BAD to wear a unraveled twist out outside? Even with a headband? I do ALL the time. I make them into a few styles and people think it's braids, etc.... BUT I never see other black girl's wearing them unless it's unraveled.
