ahh i have to add onto this as i want all the info to be spread ^^ the shrill ringing/buzzing is called tinnitus, and it originates in your ear, caused by abnormal activity in the bit of the brain responsible for sound processing :) in most cases there is definitely a cause - earwax, medication, ageing etc - and it definitely can be from damaging exposure to loud sounds in some cases !!! if it appears suddenly / arrives with other symptoms / is affecting your ability to carry out daily tasks definitely get checked out by your doctor as it could be a sign of an underlying problem :)

it’s so funny how people are like “you’ll go crazy if you can hear your heartbeat/ blood!!!” because i literally have a medical condition that makes my heart beat extra hard/ fast, meaning it’s always audible to me, and yeah it’s annoying but it doesn’t make you go crazy. it just makes it kinda hard to sleep without some asmr to drown it out. (it does get annoying though, like i’m pretty sure it’s the reason why i cannot stand silence. and i’m very easily distracted so it’s hard to focus on anything over the “boom boom,” but can’t focus when i’m listening to music to drown it out either so.... that’s not great either)
Its not just that, you start to make up sounds the longer youre in there. At some point, a guy who spend 10 hours in a room like that. Said he could even hear the oil, and gasoline pipes underneath him. As well as ringing in you're ear, that won't go away. So basically, you'd probably start going crazy after a while. 😃✌ and you would be lying if you said you weren't going to. Bc you definitely are.

I live in Minnesota, and I actually got the incredible opportunity to check our 'dead room' out with some class peers for a project. It was a strange yet euphoric sensation that occurred. It IS true you can hear your heartbeat faintly. It kind of makes your ears throb. VERY easy to just fall asleep I'd say
If I did an asmr video in a room like this, I would mention the rumour of going crazy if you stay too long and dismiss it, saying it was rubbish, and as the video goes on I would act progressively more unhinged and by the end of the video I would be completely insane. I'd still be very quiet though. There would be no jumpscares or loud noises. I'd just quietly go crazy while the viewers watched.

There’s like no reverberations at all which sounds really unusual. You normally don’t notice natural reverb unless it’s in a church hall or some other place where it’s been specifically built to have a huge reverb, but you definitely notice it when it’s gone.

But, the term is already popular. It's up to us to get that that's actually what they mean.

If I did an asmr video in a room like this, I would mention the rumour of going crazy if you stay too long and dismiss it, saying it was rubbish, and as the video goes on I would act progressively more unhinged and by the end of the video I would be completely insane. I'd still be very quiet though. There would be no jumpscares or loud noises. I'd just quietly go crazy while the viewers watched.

There’s like no reverberations at all which sounds really unusual. You normally don’t notice natural reverb unless it’s in a church hall or some other place where it’s been specifically built to have a huge reverb, but you definitely notice it when it’s gone.
I feel like his English has improved quite a bit, it's crazy to think it's not his native language considering how fluent he is and how he does not seem to have an accent
I actually noticed A LOT of dutch people can speak English very well... They sure put in some effort and maybe they even have that kind of ability to learn languages easily, I don't know 😂

Most Koreans who leave comments here say they will only post comments in Korean, laughing at English speakers. They told English speakers not to leave comments in English on K-pop videos. Only a few Koreans are pointing out to them not to do so.

Trying to understand foreign language and talk in foreign langauge must be more ideal. We know that to undertsamd each other is good manner. Many Korean people are learning English and often interpret your comments. It may be interesting to interperet and understand Korean words. :)

Don't be fooled by them! Nearly all of them are being racist to English speaking people who do not understand Korean (fortunately, there are some mature ones who apologized for the comments of others). I was surprised to see all those comments, they changed their wording so that it cannot be translated correctly if you were to use a translator!

I first heard it at heatherfeahters videos...I guess its like "legally drunk" term. Total nonsense but still people just know what you mean there now...
I think the initial intent was imitating the hum of conversation in a place like a cafe, borne from ambient sound tracks, with the actual words not being clearly audible but asmr videos use fake words or conversation-like sounds which are clearly audible (high def microphones, etc., lol) so like the next reply said, "unintelligible" whispering. But, the term is already popular. It's up to us to get that that's actually what they mean.
