Love love love, I'm always looking for a bag I can use with my electric wheelchair. I think I can hack the strap area to straps for hanging on my chair.
its a beautiful bag. Just one FYI some of us Me INCLUDED at times can NOT use rulers. In my case I am loosing my eyesight due to macular degeneration and would LOVE the option of having a template to cover that. If it means more $$ then thats ok! I would be willing to pay!
I told myself no more new patterns, but I really love this bag, and will purchase the pattern in the morning. I really love your tutorials, so will definitely support you…….you have made me a better bag maker, and thank you for also including SVG files.
You are a great teacher when it comes to showing us step by step instructions. The camera angles are perfect. You give clear directions, and love the links to all the products you use. Glad to see that there are so many patterns to create. Any chance of doing some RFID wallets? Large makeup bags and a travel roll bag for jewelry, cosmetics etc.
Hi Jess, because the friction between the presser foot and the fabric creates static, it seems as if the presser foot 'sticks' to the fabric. Awesome pattern!!
I have already made 2 of these. One with the thick bottom and one with the thin. This is very much so a useful bag. I use one for my self for work. Amazing!!!
I love your videos. Your format for supplies, tools and fabric for each project is outstanding because you provide clear directions. It’s admirable your willingness to share your mistakes with us. Do you have any wallet patterns that are RFID secure? Would like to see one or two of those unless the material used for that protection can be incorporated into any wallet or purse pattern. Thanks for your channel
my daughter asked for a big lunch bag to fit her large water bottle plus her lunch of course, , this was a perfect size, I am not great on binding, so it was a challenge, but my daughter loves it, the bonus is she can also use it as a normal bag as I made it in vinyl, I replaced the inside zipper with a clear vinyl pocket so she can fit her cutlery into it,
Jess loved this bag( got the Mika templates. It would be Great if you could do and sell all the Gussets. I hope you considered this other option. God bless Thank You
love it, sooo cute and useful. I've been meaning to ask this for a while- has anyone tried to scale down this pattern to make the bag a bit smaller? I may try myself because i think itd also be fun in a smaller size, at least for my lifestyle. thanks!
Hi Jess, thank you for this great tutorial and bag design. I looked through your fabric links and can't find that beautiful and cute moth print fabric. Do you know where you got that? TIA.
Jessica, love your videos. I noticed a gripper on the back of your phone. What is the phone holder you have on the back of your phone? Love it. Thanks.
Can this bag hold 8.5x11 paper, or normal sized folders? Thank you! Can’t wait to make this, and hope it works for my kids “quiet bag” for church and restaurants… just need it to hold their activity books, papers, etc.
Question: I love this bag and I’ve been looking for something just like it, however, I need a bag that’s 7 inches wide. Could I just make the gusset panel wider to accommodate that width, or would other adjustments be needed? Thanks so much for your great tutorials! I appreciate all you do!
How hard do you think it would be to add side handles vs a shoulder strap? I’m new to bag making and I would like to make this a travel bag with handles. Any tips on how to do that?
All bags I make have binding. It kills me that I would work so hard on a bag, only to turn it and it looks like it was run over by a truck. Gotta try this one!
I love it 🥰 so cute! When you do the tape on the presser foot how hard is it to get it all off? Do you have to alcohol swab the residual sticky off ever? I've not used the tape method 'cause I'm skeered of messing up my machine. 😬
So sometimes if I’m sewing over really sticky double sided tape I will wipe the needle off with some rubbing alcohol. Takes the glue off easily. But I try to avoid sewing over super sticky tape
Very cute. Aren’t you concerned about your webbing fraying when you punch holes in it for rivets? Shouldn’t you put fray check or something on those holes?
I'm so excited for this!! 🎉 one question: What type of dbl sided tape do you use. I am currently using the dst from weft n warp. It's still sticking. It's doable, but I was wondering what you use other than the reg wash away tape. I have a Juki TL-2010Q. 😊 Great Job!
I think this will make a fantastic knitting project bag! ❤️❤️❤️
That is such a great idea! I knit and crochet, this would be great for that!
I love binding! I hate “birthing” bags! Thank you for this awesome pattern! They look so much more professional and finished with bindings ❤❤❤❤
ME TOO!!😍💖
I don't get the hate against binding. You can have so much fun choosing accenting and contrasting fabrics 😊
Love love love, I'm always looking for a bag I can use with my electric wheelchair. I think I can hack the strap area to straps for hanging on my chair.
Omg...just finished making the bag and my smart watch told me to take a deep breath!!! Those corners are no joke.

Duckbill scissors work GREAT for cutting away fabric from the overlays as well as getting foam etc out of seam allowances👍
Don't you just LOVE that Cotton Candy varigated thread from Siah Swag!!
You have the best zippers!

I love it!! I’m starting mine today!

I’m so excited!!!! Love this pattern!!!!❤🎉
What a great bag so much fun. I thought it was Madam Leota. Very cool. Thanks for a great video and pattern ❤
Super cute Jess!!
I loooove this bag. I made one last night and it is amazing and useful.
I like big bags and i cannot lie.....
Awesome pattern!
Thank you! 😊
I bought this pattern last week, I'm super excited to get started 💎
Hope you enjoy it!
This really looks like a great bag to practice binding on since it won't be so hard to move around.
I agree! And the corners are pretty wide, so there shouldn’t be a lot of struggling with it.
Can't wait to make this one! Try the binding everyone, I love it now after a few Making Backpacks
Love this bag!!! One question - why use 2 pieces for your interior pocket vs 1 long one with no seam along the bottom?

I love it!!!❤❤❤❤
Nice bag
Love this bag!!
You have such great fabrics/vinyls/canvas in the US. I'm in the UK and we don't have all the nice cute designs 😢
Blooming Fabric, Little Stitcher Sews, Miffys Fabric and Enchanted Fabrics are the way to go!
@@sophiehutchins thankyou I'll have a look. I've only just started bag making
Hi Jess, thank you for this great tutorial and bag design. I looked through your fabric links and can't find that beautiful and cute moth print fabric. Do you know where you got that? TIA.

@@OklaRoots Thank you so much Jess!
O there's the shirt I love the bright orange with the thumb holes! Please where did you get it?
Essa fita de acabamento é maravilhosa, vou ver se encontro aqui no Brasil, perfeita sua 😊aula parabéns

Would this make a camera bag?

Could you add insulation to the inside to make it a lunch tote?
Where did you get then double faced binding?

I wish we had the sticky backing stuff in the uk it costs to much to get it posted it's a pain x

You can definitely add fray check
Easier to birth in my opinion but I'm practicing binding now though I dread it going around corners.

What size rivets did you use?
Can’t get the the sticky binding in Australia or I can’t find anyone here that does
I purchased the downloadable pattern but need the PDF pattern as well, is it available?
The pattern includes the PDF for the pattern pieces, the instructions and the SVG files (for those who use that)
@@OklaRoots I didn’t see a pattern piece in my 29 pages, I’ll double check
@@OklaRoots I received a email as well explaining where to find them, I got the pattern now, appreciate your help🧵
Birthed bag?? I have not ever heard that term!! This bag is great!!
I kinda hate binding 😂
I completely understand! I used to feel the same way
❤❤
I love binding way more than birthing bags
With gussets and shaped bags, I definitely prefer the binding too!
I hate binding
I’ve always been a ‘birth bag’ girl….until I discovered fold over elastic. Then I became a binding convert
