Hi can you please make videos (before the exam) on the set texts, kiss of the vampire, tide, water aid, formation, I Daniel Blake, straight out of Compton, assassins creed, late night women’s hour, daily mirror, the times, rip tide, humans, the returned, zoella, attitude (website), woman’s realm and huck magazine, pleaseeeee. Would be so lovely as me and my friend understand your videos sooooo well! Thanks for what you’ve done so far, really appreciate it ❤️❤️
But... pacman goes up and down as well as horizontally, and he does not grow in size. one example of a video game character that is very popular and grows in size which could replace pacman here is kirby as one of his powers/gimmicks is that he can consume air and his enemies in order to grow in size making him stronger and giving him the abilities to fly via exhaling the air he previously inhaled which could also represent how some companies just shut down the companies they buy out. other than that though nice video.
Isabella Rose Hi! I think it would be ill advised of me to try and predict questions as the exam boards seem to be set on making things as random and unpredictable as possible. I would however advise all A-level students to ensure they were particularly familiar with the set texts that are specifically for students taking the A-level rather than the AS. So The Times newspaper, I Daniel Blake, and depending what options your school has chosen, The Bridge Or The Returned, The Big Issue Or Huck Or Adbusters, and Desimag Or Attitude. It seems slightly more probably that the first A-level exam of the new spec might ask about the A-level specific set texts. But please don’t take that as gospel. I’ve told my media students to revise EVERYTHING and be prepared for ANYTHING. Good luck!
Thanks -I have been enjoying your very helpful breakdowns of media theory. However, on this one I notice that you say Maximize audience is on the caption but you say maximize profit... I assume they are interchangeable?
