Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was a special game for me; it was the gateway to other FPS games, new friends, and gaming videos on TH-cam.
COD4, whether it intended to or not, had a MAJOR impact on my life, and I wanted to pay tribute to the amazing remastered Modern Warfare with this video!
I want to give 3 special thanks;
Thanks to my middle school friends who, 10 years ago, suggested I pick up Call of Duty 4 and play online with them.
Thanks to Jason West and Vince Zampella, the visionaries who cultivated one of the most captivating military games we have seen (especially to Vince for contacting Infinity Ward during the creation of Modern Warfare Remastered - gamerant.com/c...)
And thanks to Infinity Ward, Raven Software, Beenox, and Certain Affinity for working hard to ensure that Modern Warfare Remastered would stay true to the original game and surpass expectations.

I know this upload is old but I just had to say something. Nobody might see this but I really don't care. The original cod games (mw1 2 and 3) were my favorite games I've ever played then came all these future games. I was angry with the makers so I stopped playing cod games then I got news that a remastered modern warfare was out. I bought the game and played and loved every second of the campaign. MWR gave me hope for the future of cod games. The really gave me thoughts in my brain that "hey I know sometime down the road a old school cod game will come" with ww2 I'm happy with everything going on with cod. The song is perfect for cod mw. Thank you for making this. I appreciate everything you do for the people who subbed and don't just walk down the street going "haha look at these losers" you are the best TH-camr I've ever seen. I hope you never change your content and you stay true to who you are

Merk I know this video must have been hard to make. I have the same memories of the best times of turning on my console and playing the campaign over and over again while being with your best friends. Almost right at the end of the video where your character, Sgt. Paul Jackson, slowly crawls out wounded and alone, from the downed carrier as everything around you is destroyed and reduced to rubble, your squad is dead inside said carrier, some of them are littered on the broken cracked streets, and the mushroom cloud is there off in the distance but still close as Jackson suddenly slumps down onto the dead streets slowly bleeding out as you can hear ghostly apparitions playing in the background, implicating that Paul has kids back home that he would never get to see or hold again as his vision fades into whiteness....
This is one of the reasons why I loved 4, it shows that war is always, and will still be forever, hell and it won't hold the punches as many seemingly important characters gets offed, showing that heroes aren't always invincible and spared from dying, and even though you "won" the war and killed the big baddies the results of the aftermath won't be what you expect.

It takes time, but it certainly wasn't difficult in my opinion. He did a good job, sure. But I think if you're thinking critically about the video, it could've been better. I know how long it takes to edit a music video like this, I've done it, it was also taken down until recently. So I know what work is put into it. I also know that coming from a big TH-camr like this, I expected more. He did good nonetheless.

I came from the Goodbye MwR video and I'm gonna say I didn't play CoD 4 ever when MwR came out I played it like it's a new game and I played the campaign and i got emotional with the story and I'm prestige 20 in the multiplayer and I'm sure that I'm going to miss this game so much 💕😢

R.I.P Call of duty. you have a special place in my heart. i remember waiting and waiting for that bell to ring just so i could go home and grind the shit out of modern warfare. i Hate to see this series go to space. fuck sledgehammer for introducing exo jumps and laser guns. i want to see this series go out with a bang. (like a cod with what the fans want.) and i miss playing all the call of duty games up to ghosts. i thank my friend Joseph for telling me i should try modern warfare. he changed my life. now its sad to see the franchise go to space. i hated the black ops 3 campaign because of its new charicters and plot that has nothing to do with the origional black ops games. i wish i could go back to 2007 to see me and my dad playing modern warfare campaign. i remember hopping on Modern warfare everyday to try to hit max prestige with my buddies. (boots on the ground, no laser guns, a campaign branching off the origional games, and fan favorite guns return) until then i am waiting for my wish to come true. if the next Call of duty is not boots on the ground i lost hope in this franchise. for now, R.I.P Call of duty. its been a good 10 years.

im not like many, i started playing black ops 1 but the good old times when i would get world at war, mw,mw2,mw3 after school, playing the campaign many times and getting online with my friends so we could mess around in multiplayer. those were the good o'l days. when we didnt have exo suits, futuristic weapons and the supply drop system. back then you could get on any call of duty game and start talking to someone in game chat and having a conversation. but today you'll rarely find someone talk in game chat. i miss when it was only xbox 360/ps3. the 360/ps3 had the greatest cod games, COD2-BO2. i miss the times where you couldn't wait to get home and get on the xbox (or playstation) to play cod with friends, and see the number of people playing, with over 100,000 people on at once. a time where cod wasn't afraid to show how many people are online. i miss the glory days. you might say, you can still play the games. you can, thats correct, but once a new cod game comes out, the # of players playing go lower. and lower. and lower. friends move on. i used to have 10 friends playing cod. now 0. Im the only one left but im soon going to abandon the franchise because of the futuristic setting with supply drops. treyarch and infinity ward used to listen to the community so much which was great. but today. call of duty has turned into a supply drop casino controlled by the greedy activision wanting peoples money by releasing new weapons that dont matter. back then, you would make tons of friends on cod. now its super antisocial. I've made so many friends on Black Ops 2 and on Modern Warfare games. thats what i want to say.

I remember when me and my big brother played MW we had completed the campagin like 20 times we rememberd all the sounds from the missions and first we played on easy then veteran but after that he passed away in the army I remember when my mom came to us with cake I was depressed after he died I culdn't eat and sleep but I started playing again and my friends helped me go trough it but thanks MERKMUSIC for making all the good memories flood back agin
