Hi Ken. Last fall I bought a bunch of daylilies from your fall sale. Some are already sending up scapes with buds. I'm so excited to see what they look like! Thanks for your weekly videos. Very informative!!!
Yes! We have hybridized many daylilies over the years. Here's a video we shot last year that explains how to do it: th-cam.com/video/7s9FXqKy2lE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fu12VT2s3wxbZKiW
We're daylily people so we could be wrong, but we were taught that asiatic lilies bloom late spring/early summer and oriental lilies bloom late summer.
@@OakesDaylilies I’m no expert either, however I was told that Asiatic lilies have little or no scent. That is why I bought the oriental ones. I also have several of your day lilies and they are beautiful!
@@bonniejohnston2570 That's interesting about the scent... we just know about the bloom time. Sorry we couldn't be more help. If you would've asked us a question about daylilies we would've known the answer (ha ha!)... but a question about true lilies isn't our area of expertise.

Ok I’m confused you called the lily asiatic isn’t that an oriental Lily?
