what is the elastic cord for on the left side roof support inside the cab? always been curious
just wondering: i noticed on USA videos very few backhoe's have side shifts style diggers, instead they al have a arm that is fixed in the rear center. why is this? it would seem to me this limits the use, like in a confined space or digging next to a wall. The EU version of this same machine does come with a sideshift.
Great question, Kurt! North America primarily only uses the Center Pivot model of backhoe loaders. We don’t have the space constraints and the market requires more lift capability than the Side Shift models provide. However, we are currently investigating a Side Shift Opportunity for 2018!
QUESTION: Can you wash down the inside of the cab with a hose in an enclosed cab machine, like an open cab machine? The Case we have now you can, without worrying about damaging any of the electronics. Our machines get very dirty inside sometimes and the only way to clean them up is to use a garden hose and a wash brush.
Great question! Use caution with water in an enclosed cab to make sure you don’t have moisture trapped. Our cab includes all-weather components, but you’ll want to be reasonable with water in the cab and don’t turn the hose directly onto ports or the radio.
