ABOUT WOOL N' SPINNING //
Starting in the Spring 2014, after my second child was born, I felt this need to talk about spinning, making yarn and just doing things more intentionally than I had before. This need to have this conversation and be surrounded by others who were compelled to make drove me to start talking to a camera on my laptop. It grew and a community started to come together. I decided to publish a Patreon campaign to support the show in June 2016 and here we are today. Thank you for being here. I appreciate your time spent here in this place with me. I hope you feel most welcome because you are welcome.

I love that you are planning the spin for the Lenu Sweater. I am spinning the fiber for the sweater too! You mentioned adding in “fluff” fiber. A technique that I tried on my last sweater was to spin a 2 ply in pygora (it was a grey undyed pygora) and a 2 ply in a merino cross that I had dyed and then plied the 2 together, It resulted in a subtle almost tonal fuzzy yarn, which was far less variegated I think (i think the grey pygora evened the color out), which worked well for the sweater. Beautiful sweater choice and yarn!
Oh I love that idea! And pygora is fun to spin -- that would stretch the fibre a bit too and make it go further without having to purchase a ton. Thanks for the ideas!!
Where do you get an Innoxia spindle?
From Mai directly! She's lovely! Check innoxia.crafts on Instagram and send her a message!!
Hi from Joan in West Australia..1am here and off to sleep son❤
Welcome Joan!
You might also consider doing the 4th ply as mohair rather than carding the mohair into the other fibers and spinning fatter plies.
Hmmm, that's not a bad idea actually! Thanks!!
