    I remember sharing with my mum a slice of toasted bread with butter and homemade marmelade on top when i was little.
    It was like our little moment in the morning, during breakfast.
    But then I FELL in my orthorexia more or less rapidly and well, a lot of family moments concerning food where vanished for me.
    Only until I started healing I realized how bad was it, and what a simple thing a piece of bread with some fat and sugar on top is.
    I don't know, the bread-and-butter snack just reminded me of how it scared - and, sometimes, still scares- me in that period.

      Health is so much more than just eating the most nutritious food! Its about feeling good, happy/not stressed or anxious and i feel like this is a perfect example of why bread and butter is actually gooood for you

    Erin this video could NOT have come at a better time 😩 i've had a huge blood sugar crash during my workout (i do crossfit) and it was due to not eating enough yesterday :( now i had a lunch that wasn't a salad for the first time in MONTHS (thankfully cuz i was so fucking tired of salad) and feel great and your video reminded me that i HAVE to fuel my body properly if i want to lift those weights :)) thank u babeeee you are incredible

    Just a tip for the pasta (since I’m Italian and we cannot stop talking about our food): the tomato sauce in sweet because it’s basically raw, in order for it to be suuuper good you should cook it by heating some olive oil in a pan, chop some onion and put in the pan, let it get golden/ brownish (be careful not to burn it) and then add the tomato, let it cook for 20 to 40 minutes. Add the pasta, stir a little with some basil and… *chef kiss* an amazing pasta😍

    i loved this video! it is so so lovely the message you are preaching, i wholeheartedly agree with all of it, and i can see how this would have helped somany people xx also i was not expecting you to say bread and butter as your night snack hahahah i myself and more of a sweet snack/dessert gal, but now i feel compelled to snack on bread and butter mmm. and that chinese food looked delish! ive never had chinese food takeout before tbh, only dumplings, but id love to try

    Perfect timing! For Labor Day weekend here in US I treated myself to Chinese takeout, which I haven't had in 3 years since I started dieting and exercising. And lemme tell you....I DEVOURED those delicious fried, greasy noodles! Lol! I ate the ENTIRE dinner sized portion. And the best thing of all? NO REGRETS, NO GUILT. Sometimes its important to let loose on your meals. Great video!

    Next tomato pasta dish you create add tahini it makes it so creamy, rich, and tasty. No blandness when tahini is added!!

    Yeeees I love that you supporting eating without restrictions and still being healthy! Would you consider tracking your calories + macros for a few days to show people that they do not have to fear any food groups and also no calories bc we need energy! I think you already show this a lot but since lots of people with an ed watch your videos this could help them even more🙈

    Thank you so much, I am in recovery from anorexia at the moment. I was doing well during summer, I made a lot of progress and was quite proud of myself. But now that highschool started again, I can’t follow my meal plan, and it’s putting me in a horrible place, I can’t have breakfast, we have max 15 min to eat at lunch and I can’t snack... I’m starting to feel weak again, I don’t know what to do, I feel like school prevents me from recovering and I just hate that because my weight is really low and I can’t allow myself to lose some more, it would be extremely dangerous :(
