Relaxing Pan Flute Music

Pan flute music, also known as panpipes or the Syrinx in Ancient Greece, has a rich, deep sound and is associated with the Greek god Pan. The instrument's name and symbolism come from Greek mythology, where Pan fell in love with the nymph Syrinx, the daughter of the river god Ladon. To protect her chastity, Syrinx transformed herself into reeds, but Pan cut them down and bound them together to create the pan flute. The pan flute is depicted in Greek art throughout history and was considered a shepherd's instrument in Ancient Greece, fitting for the god of shepherds.
The pan flute is made of four to 18 cane tubes that are fastened together with cane, flax, or wax. To play, the instrument is held in both hands and the player blows across the top of each tube, producing different notes depending on the length of the tube.
Pan Flute symbolizes a lot of things, but for now, let's enjoy the music this instrument can create.
