Cartoon Network promos from January 31st, 1997

Time Warner's buyout of Turner in 1996 allowed for joint marketing between Kids WB and Cartoon Network, with their earliest attempts starting in early 1997. Throughout winter of that year, they would air 2-hour sneak previews of select shows on Friday nights, as a way to test the waters for future acquired content. While Animaniacs wouldn't become a regular part of CN programming until 1998, it first aired on the channel during this sneak preview at the end of January 1997, complete with crossover bumpers done by the Kids WB editing team.
