Well good Lord I just think about every train went by this station on this day. This station seems to be a hotspot. Great catches of all the different equipment passing by. This was an enjoyable video.
Oh yeah. Yep. Whenever we see that R38-R40-R42 anywhere, there are bound to be R11’s, R16s and R40 Mods as well. And we all know what that means. TOMM Special sometime this summer.
No it’s not. That train is in service but it’s on the express track because of the construction. Also the F sign on the back of that one was probably broken
I got to say, im not familiar with the subway car models but by far the older f trains are my favorite. They look longer and for being older they still look pretty modern.
The Culver Line between Ditmas Av and Coney Island is historically BMT. The IND built portion of the line runs from Jay St to Church Av. Chaining on the line is IND, but the radio frequency is still BMT.

The difference between the two speed ranges.
lmao
Put it at X2 speed and see what happens
I tested it out. If it were 2x faster then all the trains would be going faster.
@@skrakaayyyyy_itzyostep the train is sped up but at my station is much much much louder very loud and faster
about 30 percent faster
Nice R40! Starts at 12:12
I actually saw those 2 R40s, 2 R42s, and 2 R38s at Fordham road station. That's where I live!!!!!!!
CSX MIKE i had no idea any slanties were left!
Wait wut i thought all R40 are scrapped in 2009
Aliff Danial, it was the Museum Train.
@@SG179E Some were preserved for the transit museum, like all the other retired subway cars (Including the redbird r36 and the recently retired r32).

This dude stays here and films trains for us. He is prob the realist one
Dagim G lol
Holy shit. A R32 coupled to an R40 slant. Very rare indeed
it's a R38
There is one thing I still don't get today:
Why did they retire and scrap all the nice R40 slants but still run those uglyass R32s?
The R32s are structurally, very good cars, whereas the R40s had less time left structurally. The R32s make more sense to keep, maintenance wise.
R train Productions Troll you don't know ur dam trains it's a R68 look it up

14:37 That R160 is both A and B: First five are 9563-7. Second five are 9883-7.
0:40. That's were I was standing there for most of the time over the years. Like, doing u tube video of entering, and leaving that station.
At 4:07 is that an r160 not in service train
SammyWammy 1738 yes

My question, if they’re still running those R40M Slants here, why aren’t they still being used for regular service anymore?
BKPlayz because the slant is a dangerous thing when there is an emergency move to another car it is an injury/death hazard
What happened to that G train...
Nice catch with the vintage trains! Do you have any idea why they're moving to Coney Island yard?

yeah
it happened to the same thing as the B
I remember this when it was uploaded and I was like how a Yellow S via F and other things now I just know all of them
The first r160 that was passing by made a song with its clickety clack
tbh I liked when F trains were half R160 and R46
Nice catch R40 Slant
18:07 why she did that?
she probably doesn't know that you can go from carriage to carriage on the go
Why was there a not in service B train on the F line and what exactly is a non-revenue move??
non-revenue = not in service. Equipment moves are made all the time to get cars from the yards to where they enter service, and vice versa.
