Vlogg 9 jakten på trekkfugler i Ulvik, april 2022

Vi var i Ulvik, ‪@TJPhotography‬ og eg for å få dei første bildene for året av trekkfuglar. Det ligg eit fuglereservat innerst i Ulvikfjorden der det yrer av trekkfuglar tidlig (april)

Hello. I got the adress of your channel from your son. I saw your using om system too. I went from the "old" olympus to om 1 system, because that one had 10 bit HLG. The past 15 years i have been doing mainly video. Now i have a problem and i wonderd if you found that error too? When shooting in HLG 10 bit in every scene the last frame is shown as a freeze frame. When i play the whole video it is full with "jumpers" because of this last frame. So before i can do anything at all i must remove this last frame. Our last video was from our last trip to norway and had over 1100 scene's. That makes a lot of extra work.
I asked this question to the "helpdesk" of the (only) importer we have left in Europe. And the answer i got was abit shocking. "Dont use HLG or 10 bit and youre fine"....a bit curious, since that's why i bought this camera.

Hi! I haven't experiense this problem, but i use UHS-II V60 card. Can that be the problem for you, not fast enough card?

@@fotobesten Hi. Thank you for answering. Im so confused about this. I tried everything, first i tought it was my zyun gimbal, so i filmed without it. That wasnt it, so i tried to cut out the remote from olympus, wasnt that eigther. The cards i use are sandisk 200 MB UHS2 extreme pro. That should be fast enough?

@@pep98 i have a gimball zhiyun weebill 2 and this is not compatible with my OM1. I am not filming much in 10 bits and have not experience this problems but i will tried out. When you choose 10 bits there is an alert that tell you that your pc monitor maybe is to slow for this format.

@@fotobesten I have the Zhiyun Crane-M2 S, didn't work either 🙂So they sold me the bluetooth dongle. Didn't work either, but it keeps trying to connect to the OM. So I thought it might be that. But with the hyun off, I still have this problem. Im editing on a Mac Studio (but tried the Imac 5K too) and use Final Cut Pro. When put on proxy no problems at all, fast like lightning. Only when you use "original format" it slows down much when you start with color grading. But when I look at the final product on a 65" old it really looks perfect! Much better than my older Olympus. But then the error of jumpers between every scene 😞
