We have the 530 GT in Silver. Superb Caravan. Also, the Eriba's do hold their value and are still selling for £4k at 30 years old. As we transition into Electric vehicles, these lighter caravans will be more in demand to preserve battery life of the towing vehicle.
I think the outside fixing rail for the table is a genius idea and should be immediately adapted by all manufactures! Although maybe not right below the fridge vents..
Lovely and informative tour (as always) Andrew. Any families with little ones looking at these (or several other Eriba Tourings) might like to know that there’s an optional slot in bunk which, by all reviews (I can’t speak from personal experience as I’ve now got “lads” rather than little ones and upstairs beds for them!), seems v solid and practical. As you’d expect they are a good few £££ but pre-loved ones do come up second hand once in a while in the Eriba owners groups and make this a viable funky alternative for families with younger ones :)
@@richdt6312 from the tech specs looks like one side of the seating is 98cm and the other side is 94cm so pretty tight with 3 anyway (though the 3rd person could have a fold away stool on the corridor end). We have a similar layout (Eriba Feeling 425) and one of our sides is 99cm, it was ok for 1 adult + 1 child up to about 10 ish but then the little elbows needed far more room so I was grateful that our opposite seat was 135cm ;-) These smaller Eribas are certainly no where near as spacious as many other c/vans but then that’s a theme of this sort of model so fine for 2 but just about workable for families willing to make serious compromises in search of style! E.g. We tend to almost always use a small awning and frequently eat out there; more hassle than a massive caravan in use but lovely and small in storage and on the road - always a compromise!
We were quite tempted by the Ocean Drive a few years ago. I'm unsure about the Troll Eribas as a three berth for three adults, but this makes for a very cool two berth tourer. I saw one at Adventure Leisure Vehicles in Tebay in 2019 and it has a really beautiful interior. Sorry, I blew it making detailed comments about the 320 in your previous video because we purchased the Troll 60th edition. Shame that the sockets are still in awkward positions - I hoped they would have fixed this by now. The Truma convection heater may not look like much, but put an electric element in it (around £400 fitted) and you have a powerful heating unit with no need to pay even more for connecting the blown air because this is still a small caravan. You can safely run the Truma using the 2kw electric element and the gas at the same time for rapid warm up in freezing conditions, but you would not need to do so for very long!
Really love this caravan. So sad that Eriba are discontinuing it for 2023 :( I wonder if they are launching a new special edition to replace it? Your singing is not too bad - pretty sure that Dougal was stifling a smile...

Is the ice compartment in the fridge big enough to stash copious amounts of frozen food!!!! and being 6'5 bed would double or king size bedding be a better fit x might seem silly questions but this is our 1st caravan and threading through the minefield x love the interest that dougal shows xx thankyou x roo x
Congratulations! Not sure about the bedding - if you're on your own then double would be fine, and look neater in the daytime. But if there is two of you you might want a king size... maybe drag a duvet down to the dealership? :)

I do and have always liked the Eriba Touring caravans. That said, I do wish they'd start add more variants to the lineup that retains this shape but is essentially a high roof, a bit wider, but not the 8ft(245cm) size that seems to be popular these days, with a normal sized entrance way and more modern cabinetry. They have already introduced the 820 Touring but nothing smaller sized.I have always been disappointed that the other caravans in the lineup (Nova & Feeling) are of the same basic design as everyone else. I do advocate keeping the current iconic size and pop-up roof for those that want to store their van in an existing garage and prefer the lower profile when towing.
Hmm... not as optional extras Duncan. You'd have to talk to the dealer and see if they could add something after-market. A pity as I'd love a combi grill/oven in one of these. But many folks get on well with the stove-top ovens. All the best.
Also, the gas fire right next to the bed? Why not put the little cupboard by the bed and move the heater back 9 inches or so? Away from duvets bedding etc?
Fantastic colour coordination. Looks, from a distance, to be very well built. We haven't heard from "Here we Tow" for a while. I hope that they are OK?
I do like the already built in, ready to upgrade feature. If you find you need a wet bath or something else, the bones are there to do it👍. I think I.T. people call that built in expandable.

Having such one, as you would like to see, 28 years,I'm at the point of changing for a version with a fixed bed. Getting older makes this more convenient 😉
Goodness me, another gorgeous retro caravan - this 530 and the previous 320 are both stunning for different reasons. I like the larger dinette on the 320, but I like the fully made bed on the 530. Hmmm......i think overall, this one is more appealing - did you have a favourite?

The relatively low profile/aerodynamics is more relevent in this respect because Eribas are not actually that light

The bunk would make a great idea, only problem is where would two of the four sit down to eat?

Shame it’s got a fixed bed and not a lounge with seats that converts to a bed, it would seem so much more spacious 🤷♂️
