    Among other plants I saw some redbud, iris, dudleya, and even California Dogwood; your shots of the wild flowers are definitely appreciated!

    Another nice trek into the woods !! Definitely a creepy hobo camp you"ll past. I often will follow a small feeder stream up for secluded camp sites in a high pressured , or limited camping areas . I think I may have hot dogs and onions on my first night out on my next excursion. You guys eat well !! Thanks for sharing !!

      That's a good idea to keep in mind. A couple of the creeks were still awesome looking and could've had some hidden sites. Hotdogs definitely didn't miss for us, simple and effective, I'd say! Thanks for supporting means alot!

    How did u deal with the ticks

      We treated our gear and clothes with Permethrin and checked ourselves head to toe before jumping in our tents at night. Luckily they were not that bad in the portion we backpacked in.

    Nice video. How were the bugs (mosquitos and ticks) in May??

    • @NickInNature
      @NickInNature  ปีที่แล้ว

      When we were out there the mosquitos were not a bother, and there were only a couple ticks in the portion we completed. Thanks for watching!

    Hey man love the video. If you don't mind me asking, which part of the trail did you start your hike from?

      We entered near the town of Washington. Here's a link to the trail through Alltrails: South Yuba Trail on AllTrails
