Great video. Loved the storytelling and the camera work especially with the drone is great! As long as I've railfanned this area, I've never seen it from those angles. Great work!
Great video my friend! I enjoyed how you talked over everything to explain it so we’re not just sitting here starring at a intermodal going 10 mph for 6 mins. 47:42 that view is amazing you can see the acus headlight and the mid dpus backlight.
Thank you! I’ve always got a lot to say and know nobody wants to watch full-length slow trains, funny somebody thinks the same. Sure is a fun line to chase on!
@@FloridaRailfanI wanna go down there some day but no one in my family except me loves trains ( exception for my grandpa he works for NS but still hates workin on trains after 16 years! ) it’s my dream to work for them being the most friendly engineer there is!
Thanks for the tour of the mountain, Pittsburgh Line. You put together a great video for railways. Your friend from meeting at Koppy's Propane on the BMRN Tremont Branch.
I so enjoy your kids very much. Especially those you did up here on the Pittsburgh sub. I live just a few miles from RBMN HQ in Port Cl8nton and it's always a thrill to see their assets stretched beyond our region. I actually thought you were back here this summer then I saw the snow on the ground!😂
Didn't realize you got a Taco and traded in the jeep. Ive got a 2015 and love it, go anywhere and reliable. Great vid, lookin fwd to some more gsmr and fec again 👊
The Jeep lived a good life, but the Tacoma is just as fun and you are correct regarding its durability. Thanks for the support, working on two FEC vids now and trying to get the GSMR before year’s end…
Amazing video! I absolutely love the your narration! filled full of insight, facts and some history. not to much, not to less, just perfect! thanks for this,i really enjoyed it! cheers Wade
If you ever do another trip to the Pittsburgh line, first of all, see if you can get a room at the Station Inn in Cressen.. It is right on Front Street about 150 ft off the mainline. Secondly,, between Gallitzin and Cresson, you cross over the tracks on what some call the Rte 53 Bridge. It is well worth some time spent there.
Fantastic video, as always. You’re one of the best railfan content creators on TH-cam.
Thanks Drayton, means a lot coming from you. Takes one to know one I suppose ;) always appreciate the support!!
Next time make sure to check out CP Vito's if you like Italian food. Real nice owner, been there since Conrail.
Another beautiful and well researched video. So glad you took the time to do this trip and scratch it off your Railfan bucket list!!!
I’m glad you enjoyed your visit up here, and it’s terrific you got to experience the bounty of western PA railroading, including the Loram at work!

Of course I remember you, I’m honored you’re still tuning in after all these years. I’ll be back on the Tremont Branch someday, hope you’re well!
This may be your most action packed video yet; terrific stuff! Keep up the great work.
@@jgbcodemonkey thanks a lot, this line is like no other!
Thank you for posting this.
I used to work at the Steelton PA Bethlehem Steel facility whose main product was railroad rails and associated products.
Excellent work! When I saw the words "Mountain" and "Florida" next to each other I did a little double take at first LOL.
Ha! Thank you, little out of my element for sure!
Another gem. Thank you!

Not a matter of “if”, rather “when” I go back. I appreciate the suggestion and will check it out!
Amtrak is adding a 2nd round-trip from Pittsburgh to NYC. Should be out sooner then later.
That is great to hear!
My curiosity on those former Conrail railroads is which of those locomotives were vesting Conrail livery. 💙🤍
